Abnormally expensive breakfast, terrible quality

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

They charge $31 for a garbage breakfast buffet, with built in 20% tip so it was $38 to eat non-fresh eggs and cereal..I understand making a profit but that was outrageous..The pool and hottub were nice but the hottub was only heated for one of the days we were there

Not really ski-in / ski-out...

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

The hotel advertised itself as a ski-in / ski-out experience. However, the ski out part is far from the reality. You will have to carry your gears and climb up 30~50 feet of stairs to access lifts. Overall, the experience is like staying in the basement of the Four Seasons (which is right next door). The in-hotel dinning options are also miserable. The hotel is fully booked during our Christmas stay, but the dining room was always empty, everyone knows to avoid it.

We really had a nice stay!

Best bed ever. Beautiful room though not one with a view that was presented. Walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to slopes at altitude was a daily workout! Spa and pool were not appealing. Great setting, Pricy but not disappointing. Overall we really liked it.

Our room stank.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

The entire floor we were staying on smelled of water damage, must and mildew. Aroma the moment you step off the elevator and into our room. The room was much smaller than appeared in the website and felt it barely had room for the queen bed. Front desk was condescending on check in for us not having stayed at the facility before.

Nice room. BAD, "they-could-care-less" Staff.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

The bathroom was great. Bed was very comfy. Pool looked fun though we didn't use it. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. The air conditioner in the room blew right on me and we had to move the table and chairs to block it. Wifi was spotty. No real food options in the hotel and the "snacks" for sale were way overpriced. We got a room at the FAR, FAR END of a very narrow and winding hallway that we had trouble navigating the cart through. The worst part was the staff. Young and insolent. Always on their phones. Pat answers for things. She said there was a "key" on the side to turn on the gas fireplace. We looked and looked. There was none. The front desk didn't answer the phone. Found out, much later, there was a timer on the wall that turned on the fireplace. The front desk sent us to a restaurant with a long list of beer but horrible food. Finally an older woman who worked in the Realty Office of the hotel helped us with our questions. Can't recommend with the staff they have.
