The Drunken Pig aka Beltane Ranch

The Five Engagement

In the 2012 romantic comedy The Five-Year Engagement, Violet (Emily Blunt) is trying to find the perfect place to hold her wedding with Tom (Jason Segel). She thinks she has found it when she stumbles upon a local bed and breakfast in Sonoma, California. That bed and breakfast, named “The Drunken Pig” in the film, is an actual luxury hotel you can stay at called Beltane Ranch.

If you haven’t see this Nicholas Stoller classic, Five-Year Engagement “looks at what happens when an engaged couple keeps getting tripped up on the long walk down the aisle.” Other notable cast members include Rhys Ifans, Chris Pratt, and Alison Brie—but the real star for us is “The Drunken Pig.”

The hotel’s website describes it this way:

Our landmarked 1892 Sonoma Valley Bed & Breakfast Inn offers the unique opportunity to explore 105 acres of dynamic agricultural preserve including gardens, orchards, vineyards and grazing horses and cattle on one of the last family-owned and operated ranches in the heart of California’s Wine Country. Before the ranch’s heritage as Mary Ellen Pleasant’s country escape, it was home to the grapevines of one of the region’s first fine wine pioneers, John Drummond. Continuing his legacy, our sustainably-farmed estate vineyard produces world class Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel.
