Mount Nemrut: This 7,001-foot mountain in southeastern Turkey is famous for its large statues of Greek, Armenian, and Iranian gods like Vahagn-Hercules, Aramazd-Zeus, and Mihr-Apollo-Mithras. When you view this awesome historical site, you’ll also see statues of the ancestors of Antiochus I. If you’re a history buff and a nature-lover, this is a great destination.

Goreme Fairy Chimneys: Fairy chimneys are a fitting colloquial term for these rock formations, known formally as Cappdocia. This dreamy area of central Turkey was created by volcanic eruptions, lava flows formed tuff rock and wind and rain sculpted this rock into valleys with curvy cliff faces and point fairy chimneys.

Brazil:

Cachoeira da Fumaca: In English this 340-meter-tall waterfall is called “Smoke Falls” and is one of the country’s highest waterfalls. This stunning waterfall is located in Chapada Diamantina, a region popular for adventurers, named for the way the tiny waterfall is sprayed by the wind before touching the ground. Iguazu Falls: Also known as the Iguassu Falls and Iguacu Falls, these 275 individual drops provide a magnificent spectacle to tourists, locals, and indigenous inhabitants for centuries. You can get up close to this natural wonder on a special walkway or helicopter tours.

Pantanal Wetlands: As the largest wetland in the world, the Pantanal is a precious resource in Brazil, and houses an array of plant and animal species. There are over 12 sub-regional ecosystems within the Pantanal, and each has its own unique characteristics.
