There’s a new player making a splash in the world of ultra high-end cruising. The Ritz-Carlton hotel group has announced The Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection, which will operate transatlantic itineraries as well as sailings in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Northern Europe, Canada and New England.
Guests can anticipate the same extremely high level of service that can be found in Ritz Carlton hotels around the world in addition to luxurious accommodations, all-inclusive rates, and extraordinary shore excursions like bio-luminescent kayaking in Puerto Rico or a hike to the top of St. Lucia’s Gros Piton complete with gourmet picnic lunch. Intrigued guests will have to wait until 2020 for the line’s first sailing, but in the meantime future itineraries and excursions are being updated as more details become finalized.
