Lucca is a charming city located in the western side of Tuscany. It is known for its well-preserved medieval walls that encircle the historic center. The city has a rich history dating back to ancient Roman times, with numerous architectural landmarks, art museums, and cultural events that attract visitors from around the world. Beyond its historic landmarks, Lucca is also famous for its delicious cuisine, which features traditional Tuscan dishes such as ribollita (a hearty vegetable soup), pappardelle alla lepre (pasta with hare ragù), and bistecca alla fiorentina (a grilled T-bone steak). Whether you're interested in history, art, food, or simply soaking up the relaxed Italian way of life, Lucca offers something for everyone. Its compact size and pedestrian-friendly streets make it easy to explore on foot, and its warm, welcoming atmosphere makes it a popular destination for travelers seeking an authentic Italian experience. Just a few kilometers outside of Lucca, Millelodi is a luxury villa waiting to be enjoyed. Luxury amenities, elegant interiors and manicured outdoors create a special home and allow guests to explore the region in great depth, creating countless opportunities for experiences and memories.
The villa reflects the sober lavishness typical of the Lucchese mansions, with stunning interiors, antique furnishing mixed with contemporary ones, rich fabrics and Murano glass chandeliers and sconces. But don’t be fooled by the historic flair of the villa, there are plenty of amenities to suit a modern lifestyle without losing its elegant character, such as a sitting/reading room on each floor, served by an internal lift, large-screen smart TVs, brand-new spacious bathrooms, and a modern fully equipped kitchen adjacent to the formal dining room that seats up to 12 people. Millelodi is extremely comfortable, inviting, and undeniably luxurious.
The basement of the villa hosts a fully private wellness area complete with a heated swimming pool with hydromassage jets, a sauna, a hammam, a spa treatment room, and a relaxation lounge. The basement also features a well-stocked wine cellar.
The villa is set in a private two-hectare manicured estate, cultivated with fruit trees, a vegetable garden, and a private olive grove, producing the estate’s extra virgin olive oil. The park is ideal to enjoy during an afternoon stroll. The private pool is set in a sunny location on the estate, and it is surrounded by an impeccable verdant lawn, furnished with high-end plush lounge sun-beds. On the majestic terrace, in front of the villa, dining and lounging al fresco is time well-spent with company, while relaxing and enjoying life.
