It took the guts and the trust of the owner to follow through the project of six years, to go on the journey to protect the Sian Ka'an by developing the land in the most sustainable of ways.

Furthering his vision of sustainable living based on honouring our intrinsic values, he enlisted the help of a leading architecture firm, Productora from Mexico City to work on the project. The result has seen this villa win the 2020 Wallpaper Design Awards. As a founder of the village Pueblo del Sol, in Oaxaca, and as with everything that he does, indigenous, local people come first. You can sense that intention and kindness transferred to the experience of the house as well. Newly inaugurated Casa Bautista is tucked in the Sian Ka'an Biosphere, Tulum's Unesco Heritage-protected jungle, it is promising to be an ultimate experience in truly sustainable luxury.

Located only three kilometers south of the Tulum gate, Casa Bautista is your private paradise still close enough to civilization. Please note, due to Sian Ka’an being a protected reserve, it is not permitted to bring external ATVs, water sports equipment such as kiteboards, or audio equipment. It is also forbidden to fish, in order to protect the endangered sea life. Additionally, pets are not allowed.
