Just south of the Bahamas islands chains, the nation of Turks & Caicos is known for its welcoming atmosphere, electric island culture, and great weather. Thousands of visitors visit the small country and stay at the many Turks & Caicos beach house rentals. Tip of The Tail sets itself apart from other Turks & Caicos luxury rentals and focuses on enabling guests to experience the island in a way that other Turks & Caicos rental properties simply cannot.
While the majority of house rentals in Providenciales are on the north side of the island, Tip of The Tail is set amongst the idyllic south side of the island for increased privacy, wildlife exposure and opportunity for adventure. And that’s just where the differences start, because other Turks & Caicos house rentals are nothing like Tip. Where the average rental homes in Turks & Caicos are British colonial-style houses packed to the brim with doors, bedrooms and shutters, everything about Tip of The Tail was envisioned to maximize the guest experience.
A huge front door pivots open to reveal an expansive entryway and open concept floor plan. Massive floor-to-ceiling, wall-length retractable sliding doors shatter the colonial stereotype and seamlessly break down the barriers between indoor and outdoor living spaces. Every bedroom connects to the gigantic 2,000-square-foot terrace that sets a new standard for Turks & Caicos beach rentals.
Boasting electric influences from Miami combined with the soft pastel colouring of Mykonos, Tip is famous for its unique characteristics, leveraging the natural beauty of its surroundings and elevating itself above other Turks & Caicos vacation homes. A completely white exterior sparkles in the Caribbean sunshine, making this one of the most magnificent Turks & Caicos homes. A glass-walled pool stands amongst three other engineering marvels unique throughout all the Turks & Caicos homes for rent.
Despite the abundance of Providenciales rentals, no other beach house in Turks & Caicos can say that it has its own private beach created by hand. Tip’s beach sports palm trees, a volleyball net and palapas, and is situated next to a natural lagoon, teeming with a full ecosystem and mangroves to explore. Indoors, Tip of The Tail brings your island experience to your table. The onsite Chef brings the kitchen to life with all the flavours of the Caribbean you could imagine, and more. Request some of your favourite flavours, enjoy foods from home, or fire up familiar cuisine with new and exciting spices.

Paradise, found. The Turks & Caicos Islands consist of 40-islands and cays, eight of which are inhabited. The islands are located 550 miles southeast of Miami, Florida, just below the Bahamas, in the warmest, bluest enclave of the Atlantic Ocean. Spoiled with warm, calm weather, the Turks & Caicos Islands rarely see rain and enjoy 350 days of sunshine. Tip of the Tail is located on a peninsula called Turtle Tail, speckled with estate homes and celebrity mansions (including Prince's palatial estate), and luxurious, private living.
Tip of the Tail was designed to keep her guests entertained, invigorated and rejuvenated. But some of the best exploration is done in our neighbourhood - both on land, and at sea. Charter a yacht to tender you right from our dock, slice through the clear blue water on a thrilling jet ski adventure, or have our driver bring you into town for shopping, dining and nightlife like you have never experienced before.
Strategically placed and designed, Tip of the Tail allows her visitors to experience the best of the Turks & Caicos islands, using the villa as your base for rest, relaxation and luxury. Explore the various excursions, events and destinations on-island that have made our guests fall in love with the island.
Turks & Caicos is more than just a beach destination in the Caribbean. It is a living, breathing ecosystem for adventure junkies, thrill-seekers, and of course, sun and sand lovers. It’s an explorer’s paradise; in 2004, in the midst of Hurricane Frances, a privately-owned freighter broke loose from its mooring and drifted into the Caribbean Sea.
Today, the La Famille Express rests on a reef just five minutes away from Tip of the Tail, abandoned and desolate. It was built in 1952 by the Russian Navy as a cargo ship, the Fort Shevchenko. It was sold to an islander in the mid-1990's, but not before witnessing the Cuban Missile Crisis first-hand in 1962. Alone on the reef, rusting and decaying since the day it was wrecked, it serves as a visual landmark for boaters and a hidden attraction of the Turks & Caicos Islands. Whether you admire it from sea level or are brave enough to traverse its walls, this shipwreck is rarely visited by tourists despite its crystal blue, shallow surroundings - making it the perfect spot for a unique photo op. Our guests have exclusive access to our neighbouring marina, who can send a certified guide right to our beach to pick you up and explore the wreck.
Turks & Caicos is a beautiful, warm and safe island nation steeped in rich history dating back to nearly 700 years before Christopher Columbus first set foot on the island in 1492. The people of Turks & Caicos, called Turks Islanders, are happy, friendly people who are always excited to welcome visitors to their islands. Many North Americans call Turks & Caicos home thanks to its weather, investment climate, safety and proximity to the United States and Canada.
Today, Turks & Caicos stands on the threshold of an exciting future boasting the fastest growing economy in the Caribbean coupled with strictly controlled development to protect the island's heritage as a pristine sanctuary for both local residents and tourists to enjoy for the next thousand years.
If you have ever had a friend or family member who has visited the Turks & Caicos Islands, chances are, you’ve heard of Fish Fry Thursdays. Tourists and locals alike join together in the country’s biggest social tradition - a huge cultural gathering every single Thursday filled with mouthwatering food, Caribbean culture, and a Junkanoo dancing parade. A trip to Turks & Caicos would not be complete without visiting Fish Fry Thursdays!
