Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall

I absolutely loved this trip!! All of the staff were so welcoming and attentive (especially Shakira!!)! The food options were great and the amenities that came with the site kept you going all day long! September was a great time of year because it wasn’t that packed! We will definitely come back!

Hotel is dated and in need of refurbishing, especially the rooms. The carpet in the hotel needs to be fully removed, to eliminate the odor. The staff were both friendly and accommodating. The food at the specialty restaurants were above average for an all inclusive hotel. The breakfast buffet at best was average. The beach, pools and exterior of the property was great!

It was a very enjoyable vacation and I would consider going back. The resort is rated as a 5 star. It might be a 4.5 star but still very good. Postives: Staff was extremely nice especially Tyare Simpson and Keven Birch in the Italian restaurant. Their service and attitudes were exceptional. We got upgraded to a ocean view room with a balcony which was large including the bathroom. All the food in the buffet and the restaurants was good. Grindz coffee shop was awesome. Daytime activities by the pool were lively and fun. Negatives: There was a rainfall shower head in the bathroom which did not provide much water pressure. It would be better to have a regular shower head. Night time entertainment could have been better. One night when it rained, the scheduled entertainment was not moved inside. I think it was cancelled but there was no communication to say what happened. It seemed like a lot of the common areas inside the hotel were not air conditioned although the room was nice and cool. One of the main problems was that every time we asked something, we were referred to the QR code and we didn't bring our phones due to the high cost of international usage. It would be better to have the TV screen in the main lobby working properly so that the activities and other information is easily accessible. Also, we did not know what time to expect our transport back to the airport. There was often a long line up for the a la carte restaurants as all guests were scheduled to arrive on the hour. Seating often took a long time (except at the Italian restaurant). Selection of breakfast food at the Choices buffet was quite limited compared to other resorts that I have been to in Jamaica. The a la carte food in the evening at Choices was very good. Overall, I had a very good time at the Hyatt Ziva!

We did our 10 year vow renewal with our children at this location and it was such a beautiful experience. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful and memorable experience. We did a small mini wedding package and the event planning team was spot on. Our pictures were gorgeous and so professional done. We also had a suite since we had our kids and the room was spacious and the butler team went above and beyond for us. My only critique is that internally, the walls could use some extra paint and the carpet needs to be changed as it give the resort a dated look. Some minor updates would go a long way to bring up the appearance. The grounds were absolutely beautiful,and although the beach was small, the grounds were beautiful. We had a blast!
