It was an awesome experience from start to finish. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. I went there with family to look for investment properties in the area and have a little fun. Next time I'm going to spend all of my time at the resort!

Spent a week here for a romantic getaway with my girlfriend. Blown away by the views, quality and selection of the food in the resturaunts. Loved warm nights by the ocean with a calm warm breeze. But hands down what made this resort over the top was the service and care from the staff. Everywhere you go you are greeted with a smile. They get to know you personally and suggest activities they think you would like. Manuel, Elvin, and Gamalier stood out to us as truly caring that we had a fun time. They were genuine great people that had us dancing in the sand, water activitys, looking at luxury cars together, and even played a few rounds of pool with me. Can't say enough about how great of an experience we had. We will be back soon as I can. Thanks Zilara!

Beautiful resort with excellent service. Alexa (concierge), Diometris (pool recreation area), and Carlos (water sports) were exceptional…they went above and beyond to make my resort stay a great experience!!! Beautiful property and beach with breathtaking views.

One of if not the best all inclusive resorts we have stayed. 20 minutes from the airport so no long car ride after the flight. Can’t say enough about how friendly the staff is. Special shout out to Junior Michel the club pool concierge…took care of us every day! We were in room 4708 club level ocean view. The layout of the property was easy to navigate. The place never felt crowded. No early morning pool or beach chair saving required. No restaurant reservations to worry about. Never had to wait anywhere and someone was always asking if you needed anything. I can’t say enough about the pleasurable experience we had here.

The experience was great. We spent most of our time at the club pool and Wilim Sonzols was amazing. It was as if he could read our minds. The bartender Robert was equally amazing. The food was good. Our favorite were buffets in the morning. Appetisers at Shutters and the dinner at the Indian place.

I enjoyed two nights/three days at the Zilara over Thanksgiving and found it to be the perfect mix of fun and relaxation. The rooms are modern and spacious (although the term "suite" is used loosely), with huge bathrooms, a well-thought-out closet and large balcony. The mini-bar offerings were kind of sad (M&Ms, tiny cans of beer and a couple of Cokes). Some of the decor in the room and throughout the resort looks like reclaimed plastic-- great idea, but so-so execution.
The buffet was full of delicious, unexpected delights and thankfully, not self-service. The French/Tahitian Brando's is worth the wait and don't miss the ceviche. The steakhouse Waves offers al fresco dining and my steak was perfect. The spa is out of this world. They have a large thermal circuit which is well worth the extra charge. A therapist manages your circuit and walks you from experience to experience. As a result, I did everything, and in the order it was intended. The public spaces are wonderfully designed and easy to navigate.
There are activities throughout the day, much like a cruise. It was fun to watch people doing cross-fit in the pool while I sipped my mimosa. Speaking of which, the pool service was attentive, which I didn't expect at an all-inclusive. Overall, drink quality was better than expected -- premium, but not top-shelf. Upgrading to the Club level is worth if if you want top-shelf liquor, as well as exclusive restaurants and pool. Unfortunately, the service did not extend to the beach, where it was impossible to get a drink and it looked like a gang of spring breakers had just departed after a kegger. Overall, great for people who want to relax without kids around, but also want the option to "do things" -- who like to drink and eat and not have to worry about the bill.
