Just returned from a one night stay. Positives- welcomed with a smile and cheerful banter. Room was clean ( room cleaners did a great job and were friendly and spoke to us) and had everything in it- vanity kit, Jo loves products, slippers and robe, well stocked tea caddy and Nespresso coffee maker, comfortable bed, large TV with lots of channels. Clean changing rooms in pool area Lovely view of Loch from the Great Scot bar. All staff said “ hello” Value for money for our price point. Could do better: cracked tiles on wall above bath. Walk -in shower and separate bath would be expected in a 5 star hotel Changing room lockers are very strange and your card has to be taken to the pool? Thank goodness my husband had pockets in his shorts! Pool side was very slippery-saw a man nearly crash to the floor ( he would have been seriously injured if he had hit his head) Pool had green slime on grouting Drinks were reasonably priced at Great Scot bar until the tip added -12.5% brought the price up considerably . We were served by lots of young staff (which is fine as everyone has to learn but don’t expect any help with drink choices ). Breakfast -plenty of choice , loved the cereals and fruit but I am vegetarian so there was no sausages or other foods for me. I had two potato scones and a grilled tomato. I was really annoyed that no one acknowledged me standing at hot food counter for over 5 minutes. In the end I asked the manageress to get me one fried egg! This was definitely not 5 star service. To summarise - for the price paid ( by our daughters as a gift to us) we would return. We look forward to the refurbishment of the pool area.

Just spent the weekend at Cameron house this visit was specifically booked as we had booked the sea plane flight unfortunately the flight company is now in administration so lost £175 each when I mentioned this when booking in they were VERY unsympathetic nothing to do with them even though sea plane was parked at their front door!!! As the hotel was pre paid with no cancellation we had to go. The hotel location is fabulous our room was lovely, breakfast great BUT they should serve the toast but instead you queue up to make your own (there are 2 toasters) just crazy for a 5 star hotel. Had dinner at the grill & it was very nice also dined at the club house & although the food was good we felt as if we were invisible had to ask for water 3 times & other diners arriving after us served their food before our order had even been taken. This was my 3rd visit, will I return probably not mainly due to the couldn’t care less attitude regarding our doomed flight

We left Cameron house disappointed. We brought the dogs and stayed in the king room with Balcony. Paid 100gbp to bring the dogs. When we arrived nothing was in the room for the dogs as advertised. We rang reception and this was delivered quickly. We thought mistakes happen and settled in. When we were in the room later we ordered room service for 2 drinks and they just didn’t arrive. We ended up falling asleep but very poor for a 5 star hotel to just forget to bring the drinks. For 700 for the night the overall experience was premier inn level of service. We had dinner in the grill and it was amazing. I like the fact the manager kept going round the tables to have a chat and discuss the dishes. She was new to dinner having come from breakfast but I think she added a nice touch. Service from Brendan was spot on.

I recently enjoyed a delightful two-night stay at Cameron House with my husband. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, complemented by a stunning spa. The dining experience was exceptional, and I would like to highlight the outstanding service provided by James, the on-site concierge, whose confident, patient, and helpful demeanor truly enhanced our visit.

Really disappointed. Far too busy - too many people for the facilities available. They have the new block of accommodation (where we stayed and the rooms were nice) but clearly haven’t thought about the capacity of the bars and restaurants during peak times. We had to wait 45 minutes for a drink in the bar before dinner. We returned after dinner for a nightcap and couldn’t get served. We had to wait 30 minutes for our car the next morning. We went to lunch in la Vista the Italian - make sure you book as they had a coach trip of 40 people I which meant we couldn’t book in for an hour and a half. If they weren’t charging five star hotel prices, you maybe wouldn’t mind as much. The staff were lovely just under resourced. Too greedy at the compromise of the guest experience - won’t be back.
