Reviews for Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens

It’s all about the details!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

What a fantastic stay ! A very warm welcome led by Mikael. Personalized service. My wife and I came here 6 years ago at the first days of the opening. After all this time the facility and the staff stayed at their top notch level now. Housekeeping, Spa, room service, concierge and the kids club were all attentive and went the extra mile to make our stay once more unforgettable. It’s truly all in the details!

The Best Four Seasons Experience I’ve Ever Had!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

From the moment we arrived, the hotel exceeded every expectation. The attention to detail, the genuine warmth of the staff, and the unparalleled level of service made this stay truly unforgettable. The reception team greeted us with such sincere hospitality that I felt immediately at home. Check-in was seamless, and they even remembered small personal preferences pure class! Eugenios and Andreas were highly attentive and went above and beyond . Attentive & Smiley Staff. Every team member, from housekeeping to the concierge, was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. Most Thoughtful Concierge , the team was next-level amazing. Whether securing last-minute reservations or offering insider local tips, they handled every request with precision and care. Christina at Avra bar was outstanding always extra attentive , smiley and professional. This wasn’t just a stay it was an experience. The Astir Palace has set a new standard for luxury hospitality, and I cannot wait to return. If you’re looking for perfection in service, warmth, and elegance, this is the place. If you want a picturesque seaside escape with unbeatable convenience, this is the place!

Exceptional hotel & service 😀👍🏻

My husband last visited this hotel 50 years ago. It’s been rebuilt since then & is now even better. Situated Athens Riviera area Everything from start to finish was excellent hotel welcome, knowledgeable friendly staff at every job, friendly pleasant. They all contributed to a stress free & relaxing holiday. Room was very comfortable & well appointed with outside private balcony ideal for in room dining, walk in shower, separate massive bath, dual his & hers sinks, fluffy towels robes & pleasant smelling handwashing & soap, We used the spa, had a fabulous massage, used the rainforest showers, the jacuzzi with its many different water jets, the spa pool big enough to swim in & with its own jacuzzi jets you can press the silver buttons to turn on. The changing room has big lockers with indoor pool sliders if u don’t hv yr own indoor ones. Towels, robe & changing room showers, hair dryer, costume spinner, toilets. You can get to the spa from Nafsika by walking along the path by the sea towards the other hotel building. Once past the water sports cabin you will find a lift to take you up the cliff. There are steps but too many for us so lift was ideal. Sitting by the pool & snacks from the bar was very relaxing. There are a number of restaurants on site to choose from. Breakfast selection was vast however on our first morning we thought it was only the eggs menu on the hard board available. The main breakfast help yourself buffet is to the right after you enter Mercato. Took me to last morning to realise there was also a toaster, it isn’t right next to the bread. Majority of staff offer faultless customer service. Hotel made many arrangements on our behalf including taxis everywhere & entrance to Lake Vouliagmeni with towel hire. Was very convenient to have taxi drivers paid on our hotel bill & know exactly where they were going. We took a normal taxi back one day from Monas Tiraki sq & the taxi driver was anxious about where our destination was. I would recommend asking the hotel to make your arrangements. There is an in room iPad you can use to order room service & you can also use WhatsApp to ask the hotel for help. One of our journeys was so close the hotel took us there & back in the hotel vehicle. Excellent service. We were able to leave our luggage safely on our last day after checking out & spent time at Lake Vouliagmeni before heading to the airport. Would recommend 💯 % & would love to go again.

An Absolutely incredible luxury hotel

Lets face it, when you stay at a Four Seasons Hotel, you do expect luxury, great facilities, wonderful food, and superb service! This Four Seasons is so very good, that it makes most others look and feel like a motel stop. From the moment you arrive, its an example of non stop smiles, courtesy, quality and genuine pride. The teams in every department, food and beverage, housekeeping, reception, pool, gym, gardening, concierge, drivers.........everything, were utterly superb, had been hand picked, and carefully trained, with not a single mishap.......well there was a minor mishap where we were dropped off in town at the wrong restaurant, but the moment they realised, it was as if our vacation was ruined, they couldnt apologise enough! This is a classy, ultra, ultra friendly hotel, with the best trained staff I have ever had the pleasure to be served by. Absolutely incredibly well run

Astounding experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This is a fantastic hotel. My husband and I stayed at the Four Seasons-Athens in February which is winter/ low touristic season. The hotel was quiet with amazing sea view… which exactly what we needed. The weather was decently good, so we enjoyed the morning coffee from our room’s balcony, and watched the sunrise and the sea every morning. What makes this hotel high end is the staff. Very attentive and very friendly. We have never encountered an issue. Contrary, the smile never leaves their faces, and everyone was looking after us in any possible way. I will give some examples: 1- As we rented a car, the parking man was very nice at any moment we arrive or leave the hotel. Every-time he offered us drinks while we wait for our car to arrive from the hotel underground parking (which is maximum one minute if wait) 2-One time, I was searching my bag looking for my room’s key. The receptionist ran to me offering another key (while I was still looking in my bag), and that without me even asking. 3-The front office sent me a WhatsApp message warning me that taxi drivers will go on strike the day I’ll leave Athens. They offered us limousine arrangement if we like. But we had the rented car, and the strike didn’t affect us. I cannot imagine if we didn’t have the car, and we didn’t know about the strike, what could have happened? And just FYI, the strike included uber services. These type of caring for guests is what makes the stay different. Regarding the breakfast : it was a top notch. The fresh morning juice is to die for (carrot, orange, and ginger). The toiletries in the room are high end. The room was super clean, and anytime we needed anything , we only had to ask once. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Four Seasons Looking forward to come again
