A modern marvel located inside an ancient city, NJV Athens Plaza - a Preferred Hotels & Resorts property, part of Preferred Hotel Group - swells with sophistication in this bustling Greece metropolis. Ideally located in Constitution Square, next to the Greek Parliament, this urban oasis offers spectacular views of the Acropolis. A lasting first impression begins inside the jeweled lobby, with its swirl of lounge chairs and stone embellishments. Members of the Parliament often descend upon the hotel for leisurely lunches and socializing. The compilation of rooms and suites evokes a chic and contemporary feel, with relaxing neutral tones and deep crimson accents. Suites have a designer presence, with influences from Ralph Lauren and Versace, plus jutting balconies and soundproof walls that provide a cocoon of comfort.

I just did not sleep. The external noise as much as the noise from the rooms corridor, was just unbearable. Doors slamming all night long, and people screaming on the road. The hotel is old. No value for money. Extremely expensive breakfast. I will not visit again.

This hotel is in a great location. It is walking distance to Plaka and other sites. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet was good. Our room was a bit dreary, as the “window” faced inside, so no sunlight. Room, however, was very clean.

It is a great place to stay, close to everything. Parliament building across street so easy to watch changing of the guard. Can walk to old olympic stadium. Restaurant is good and varied menu. Beds and pillows are comfortable . Breakfast has lots to choose from.

The first thing that a staff member told us was that our room had been upgraded to a superior room with a view of the Acropolis from our balcony. It just got better from there. The king sized bed was just what we needed after long days of walking through Athens and daytrips to other areas. The location was a seven minute walk to Monastiraki Square, or would have been if there weren't so many shops, dining places, bakeries, and performers around. My wife used a mobility scooter and while the streets could have been a bit clearer and easier to maneuver, we had only a little trouble getting to the Acropolis and other archeological sites. It was easy to locate the hotel after the activities were done. The staff was friendly and accommodating of special needs. The cafe was there in the lobby for tired sightseers and the included breakfast was simply amazing. You should go.

Easy access to the hotel directly from the train station, excellent location on the shopping avenue, local food nearby and plentiful, pubs, cafes and dessert shops very close, excellent hotel services, I will definitely come back again.
