Reviews for Austin Proper Hotel
The only place you will want to stay at in Austin
I was recently at Austin Proper for the second time and yet again it did NOT disappoint. The property itself is first class, the lobby and lobby bar are also a staple of the Austin social circle. The staff (especially Guilio) were beyond courteous, helpful and made reservations for me at restaurants that I thought impossible due to the last minute nature. I highly recommend staying there is you want a tier-1 Austin experience.

Great times at the Proper !!
Absolutely love staying at the Proper. Such a cool fun place with beautiful decor and great staff. An especially big shout out to Kevin, Emma, Hernan and Gulio in the front of house bar areas... you guys a awesome and made our visit feel like we were being welcomed by great new friends ... which we were !!! I’ve never been so impressed with how much all the employees took care of us but in particular Mr. Khoury. We had one problem and immediately was taken care of. He would check in daily to make sure all was well even on his days off. His attention to detail was impeccable and it reflects on the people who are under his direction. We even asked to meet him and let him know how much we enjoyed our stay. I’ve never done that before!! Anyway, i can hardly wait to take my family there!! Thanks again Mr. Khoury!!

Best Hotel in Austin
The absolute best hotel I've ever stayed at. The service was 10 of of 10 Everyone wS so professional polite & happy. The rooms are beautiful & the beds are so comfortable you don't want to get up. We will definitely be back. I recommend Proper to anyone visiting Austin.

The Best in Town
This is currently, easily the best hotel in Austin. The service, the food, the bars. It used to be a hidden gem but the secret is out and this place is hopping. Service hadn't suffered though so it's my go to place when I'm in town. Rooms are lovely and the Suites are exquisite.
