Conrad Bali

To All Potential Guests: Please be cautious and wear anti-slip footwear when using the shower facilities at Conrad Bali. I suffered a serious accident in the bathroom of this hotel last Sunday, just three hours before my flight. The fall resulted in a severe back injury, and I spent 11 hours in the emergency department at my local hospital. Following the incident, I contacted the hotel seeking support and appropriate compensation. Unfortunately, the response I received was deeply disappointing. Rather than addressing the issue directly, the hotel staff deflected responsibility and instructed me to deal with their insurance company, showing little concern for guest safety or well-being. I find the hotel’s handling of the situation both unprofessional and unethical. I urge others to reconsider staying at this property, as the management’s conduct in this matter was negligent and unacceptable.

Conrad is a nice large hotel and is nicely located with ocean frontage. We enjoyed our stay and staff were helpful - at times did not seem happy. We have been to Bali many times including Nusa Dua hotels and for the price we did expect a little more in terms of food quality and service. The breakfast whilst diverse was lower quality and long wait times for any egg orders and believe there is better value around. Similarly, the wait time for drinks at the pool also took some time to arrive and the prices are around $10 a beer and $20 a cocktail.food was average for the price. If staying for a longer please note the ocean front view room did not have any drawers or space to put clothes away and the balcony is standing room only. Be sure to book the cabana which is a great place to relax for the afternoon and watch the ocean and front path go by. Pools are great and could easily get a chair. Overall we liked the grounds but believe there is better value for the price.

Had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are wonderful and very clean, with housekeeping doing a great job everyday, and the room was touched up during the evening turndown service as well with things like bottled water replenished. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious buffet, plenty of choice for everyone including vegetarians. Pools all very nice, with lots of lounger availability and poolside towels available all the time. All staff everywhere incredibly helpful and polite and always a pleasure to talk to. Beach is right by the hotel and while I didn’t use the beach it looked clean and well kept.

DO NOT STAY IN THE POOL VILLA. We checked in and checked out within 20 minutes. After we checked in and we walked through the property to our room, we noticed it was a bit dated, but in fairly good shape. The gym looked modern. But that's where the good stuff ends. It goes downhill from there. The room they took us to (Villa 1602) was musty and smelled mouldy. We immediately called reception to change rooms, and while we waited, we both got massive headaches. We were trying to be patient and wait, but a minute later, a gardener arrived in our gated backyard (!!!) to rake leaves so we decided that this was not the hotel for us. Imagine if we'd been changing clothes or having a swim, and he just wanders into your yard!! I've attached photos of the outside walls to show how disgusting this place is. I didn't get any indoor photos. The room was small, dark, and dreary. They need to do a full refurbishment of the villas. We immediately checked out and left. What I'm most upset about is that we chose this hotel because we had stayed in the most elegant Conrad in Singapore. We had loved every moment, and service was outstanding, so we had been looking forward to this trip. This property does not feel at all like a Conrad hotel. If you want a pool villa, head next door to The Royal Santrium. You won't be disappointed.

My second time staying at Conrad. Everything was perfection. The staff were all very friendly and consideration. The hotel had lovely amenities. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to have a relaxing resort experience. A+++ Thankyou.
