Mandapa, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve

I spent a few days with my family at this hotel to celebrate my birthday, and all I can say is that this place is an absolute paradise. Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, it offers a peaceful and calming atmosphere like no other. The service is truly exceptional, with the entire staff being warm and devoted to making you feel special and ensuring your stay is unforgettable. Every service offered by the hotel is outstanding. I also must mention that the breakfast is in a league of its own! We are already dreaming of our next visit. Thank you so much for this experience!

What a place! This place comes at a price but it’s 1000% worth it if you can afford to treat yourself. A place of pure luxury. We stayed as a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children ages 7, 3 and 1 year old. From the moment of arrival we were made to feel so special. Lots of the staff made a huge effort to learn the names of our children too. There were complimentary activities each day for cultural experiences, wellness, children activities and a shuttle into Ubud centre 5 times a day. The buggy service was fab taking you to all places in the complex. With only 60 villas/suites in total you were never on top of other guests. The busiest location was by the pool but we always got either a cabana or chairs with no issues. Parmini our butler was on hand via watsapp for whatever we needed. The views in this place are incredible. I could have sat all day looking out at the sheer beauty of the location. With its own rice field and respectfully designed buildings. We stayed 5 nights but only ate in the hotel on one evening and one lunch as we ate in Ubud each of the other nights. The breakfast here was delicious, plentiful, wholesome and incredibly accommodating. The kids loved the pancakes with Nutella and we enjoyed the poached egg with crab. We would love to return again in the future to this place, perhaps when our children are older so we can enjoy the wellness activities too!! A little gem of a resort that I can’t recommend enough. Thank you for making our trip to Ubud so special and memorable. Huge credit to every member of staff. They make this place!! One final thing to mention, the croissants at breakfast were totally incredible, worth coming here just for them!!

My stay at Mandapa resort was really, really, really good! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their exceptional service and warm smiles. The resort itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained gardens and luxurious amenities. The rooms are spacious, clean, and so comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day by the pool or exploring Ubud. Speaking of the pool, breathtaking, and there are plenty of loungers to kick back and enjoy the view. The dining options are fantastic, with a wide variety of cuisines to choose from. Breakfast, in particular, was a treat—so many delicious options to start the day right! The location is ideal, close to the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants, yet it still feels like a peaceful oasis. Overall, I can’t recommend Mandapa Resort Ubud enough. Whether you’re looking for relaxation, adventure, or a mix of both, this place has it all!”

Travelling a lot, I can say and testify that Mandapa is the true signification of Luxury, a sanctuary where nature and utmost culinary quality are responding to the excellency of service. We fell like home in this reserve where our mind and body were fully rested in a perfect nest of enchanted attention. Thanks to the amazing team, a special mention to the excellent creations of the head mixologist Adi and the inspirational Jaron leading a well experienced F&B team. Merci also to Masa and his bold approach reflected by a unique team who knows in advance the guests desires.

Had a great dining experience at Sawah Terrace at Mandapa. The Indonesian food was tasty, satay and fresh coconut, also the dessert to celebrate birthday. Also thanks to the food introduction and service by Yunik.
