Located in the heart of one of Asia’s great metropolises, the Park Hyatt Bangkok can be found in one of the city’s most iconic buildings, drawing inspiration from local pagodas. The hotel offers a sophisticated feel with a calming presence to escape the frenetic pace of the Thai capital. The rooms are some of the largest in the city, and each is filled with minimalist décor.

I’ve stayed at the Park Hyatt three times in the last year. I like it because the location is good and the breakfast and facilities are top notch. When my employees travel to Bangkok, I will usually book them at the Park Hyatt as well. All of that almost came to an end, if not for Chota (front desk manager?) I was working at the glass topped table in my room, I leaned on the table top a little bit and the whole thing cracked in half. So in my mind, either a) the table was already damaged, as that amount of pressure should not have broken the glass or b) the table was poorly designed and extremely fragile. I was informed that I would be charged $6000baht for this. I would have happily paid if I felt that I was at fault, but I just did not think I did anything that was unreasonable or outside of what would be considered normal usage of a table. Anyways, Chota was kind and gracious, even though I was upset, and he pressed his management to waive the fee, which they ultimately did. While I have my concerns about the furniture now, and how swiftly and blindly the management here goes around charging for damages without hearing the full story. But I have no concerns about the staff, Chota in particular, who as the middleman, handled it like a pro. He has single handedly kept me a customer of this property.

We enjoyed our honeymoon at the Park Hyatt Bangkok. The attention to detail by the hotel staff was exceptional. As a globalist member, we received a complimentary suite upgrade. We loved the rooftop pool and the Penthouse bar. The Park Hyatt concierge also recommended one of our favorite excursions - a cooking class with Silom.

Through and through, this hotel truly is a luxury experience. The hotel room had a very elevated feel and any and every amenity that you could need. The pool is extremely nice and has poolside service as well. The gym facility is quite large and offers whatever you'd need. The rooftop bar is an amazing view and offers delicious drinks and food. The hotel connects directly into the Central Embassy mall which also has a small grocery store. The hotel and mall connect directly to the Phloen Chit BTS rail station and is about an hour ride from the airport (with 1 transfer). The hotel is very centrally located to everything we did while in Bangkok and just a short walk from multiple malls and areas of interest.

It's the best hotel recommendation for single person traveling for business trip as the facility in the room like bath tub. For me, I prefer to stay in the room after all day meetings as I need silence and solitude time in the morning and night time.
