I want to pay special attention to the work performed by Miss Mizuki Navarro, who gave me a very accurate itinerary through the most important art and litterary places in Barcelona. Thanks to her guidance I did not miss any place related with modernist architecture and literary cafés.

Arrived early and was very well taken care of while I waited on my room. Hotel is just a tad bit dated (esp. the hallways) but I heard it’s about to undergo renovations. Views cannot be beat!! Especially of the harbor and the beach P.S. Maria at the front desk was very helpful.

Regretted booking 3 nights here as we lined up to check in. When our turn came the receptionist disappeared. Fortunately the elite staff took us over to Javier at the desk to the right and he helped us. The staff were taking a long time checking in/ out guests while 3 concierges stood off to the left doing nothing. We enjoyed the view from our first floor cozy room. It was spacious with paid for mini bar and snacks. We did not use these, but did have room service twice. Expensive but very good. Fire restaurant meals were tasty but really not worth what we paid. They have filtered water, not bottled water which we paid over 9 euros for. Wanted to eat at 5 pm , however restaurants were closed between 4-7 pm. Now, the room- not my cup of tea- low beds, shower flooded floor- it was very awkward and I did not like the glass doors. TV had a few channels in English which was great. This hotel is beautiful with lovely views right on the beach. We are off to Lamaro (hotel Colon) for a few days.

I was very disappointed because the service was absolutely terrible. After returning from dinner at the restaurant outside the hotel grounds, I unfortunately forgot my room number, making a small mistake by dialing one incorrect digit. When I approached the reception, I was met with rudeness by an employee from India, CHAFIK OUELD Ass. Director Whatever Whenever & Welcome Desk who told me that if I do not leave the hotel he will call the police. Unfortunately, no one even apologized to me. I highly recommend avoiding this place. Also the souvenir store by hotel never gives a refund.
