The Lenox is a wonderful hotel! It is in a great location. (We actually took Amtrak to Boston and the hotel is about 3 blocks from the Back Bay Station.) The room we were given was well-appointed, comfortable, and clean. The staff is welcoming and friendly. We got a great rate by going through stashrewards.com for booking and also received an upgrade when we checked in. Thank you to Stash and The Lenox!

This is our go to place in Boston. Always get the fireplace room and in the winter it’s great to come back and have a roaring fire to relax . Service could not be better, the staff is very friendly and are sure to please. The location is the back bay is close to all.

The Lenox is my hotel of choice when in Boston. They keep a high standard of service and attention to details. The location is very convenient walking distance to Newbury street and plenty restaurants. Bed and pillows are very comfortable, room is spacious and always clean. This time I asked for late check out (following a 4 night stay), the receptionist approved but did not make a note of her approval. When I came to confirm, I was declined and had to argue for for something that was supposed to be settled ahead of time. Not characteristic of this hotel, I will be back, but a bit reluctant next time!

I love this hotel! It's a beautiful boutique hotel from another era in the heart of Copley Square. The first and foremost ingredient is the Hotel Lenox staff --absolutely everyone greets you there. This was my third stay and I received a nice hand-written greeting card acknowledging my return. My latest room was spacious with a real fireplace (I wish I had time to try it out!). You call room service and a uniformed person comes up with kindling and wood and sets a fire --I think many of the corner rooms have this. Nice on a winter's night! A comfortable and quiet place, in spite of being right next to some of the best restaurants and shopping in town.

we had stayed at The Lenox years ago and remember it to be elegant and stately. The location is fabulous- convenient to everything in downtown Boston. The hotel itself, however, was disappointing this time. In its elegance and classic architecture, I would have hoped it would have been more updated and bright. It is tired and gloomy, and the room, while clean, was almost depressing - even with a fireplace. Staff is lovely all around. But with competition these days, we were expecting something higher end for the cost.
