My experience at the Raffles Hotel in Boston was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, Stephan, the doorman, made me feel like a valued guest, greeting me warmly and with a personal touch. The level of attentiveness extended to my butler, Veleska, who provided a thorough and engaging overview of the hotel’s grounds and her role. She also went above and beyond in coordinating my tea time, making the experience seamless and memorable. The hotel itself exceeded all expectations, with impeccable service and outstanding indoor dining. The atmosphere was both luxurious and inviting, making it an ideal location for meetings or special events. Having enjoyed this stay so thoroughly, I’m eager to explore other Raffles properties, particularly when I’m traveling in Asia, as I’ve stayed in New World Makati and know the brand’s reputation for excellence. I wholeheartedly recommend the Raffles Boston for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in the heart of the city.

NA's first Raffles has nice and spacious rooms, convenient locations, and friendly staff. However, several service lapses across departments throughout the stay make this Raffles a subpar hotel compared with Four Seasons. The front drive staff was friendly and welcoming, and check-in was smooth. However, I did not have a Meet & Greet from the butler, which is supposed to be the main selling point and differentiator. The butler communicated with me via text messages throughout the stay and answered requests promptly, which was great. I was upgraded with the FHR benefits, and the room was spacious. I loved the heated bathroom floor, which made a winter stay in Boston much more comfortable. Most controls in the room are automated through the touchpad on the wall. However, the interface was hard to use and not responsive occasionally. The AC gets loud from time to time. Now, onto the service lapses that made my experience disappointing: Housekeeping is not up to standard and seems to do the bare minimum. Upon check-in, I immediately noticed several water spots in the bathroom faucets and shower room, which I've never seen at the Four Seasons One Dalton where I usually stay. The tissue box was already nearly empty and should've been replaced. I requested extra waters before my stay, and these comments should be communicated but my waters were not replaced daily after housekeeping service. Also, my water glass was never replaced, and by day 3, they had placed that same glass full of fingerprints on the bedside table. My dining experiences were also mediocre, to say the least. I joined for breakfast daily, and on the first day, I requested no cheese in the omelet but still got cheese. On the second day, I was mistakenly given the lunch menu instead of the brunch menu, and the hostess did not know which menu was offered that day, which was highly unprofessional. Several berries on the side I ordered were rotten and molded for that meal. Moreover, they forgot to put chicken in the Caesar salad for the room service order. Most of the restaurant staff was friendly and professional. Still, I was unsure if the hotel was getting some temps because several interactions did not meet standards with the verbiage they used. Overall, these were not huge mistakes but added up to make the Raffles not a luxury stay. I hope the hotel improves its service standards that match the Raffles brand.

As frequent, very satisfied, guests of both Four Seasons in Boston we decided to see what all the hype was with the butler service Raffles offers. While they do reach out prior to your stay for preferences no one seemed aware of our wishes upon check in. Our requests were not acknowledged on three occasions leaving us to wonder if the butlers only pay attention to VIP requests or guests of the highest priced rooms. I would venture to guess the service and attention to detail provided by a Raffles butler in Singapore is likely much better than in the US hence my review title. On a positive note, the room and bath were gorgeous. However, one of our requests was NOT to view the parking garage but when we opened the draperies there was the top floor of the garage right outside the window making parked cars THE focal point. The menu in The Long Bar is limited in my opinion although the food and service were good. The pool facility is fantastic with very comfortable double lounge chairs. Although, it viewed the garage on one side as well.

Helpful and super friendly staff. Exceptionally attentive. Our upgrade to the Emerald Suite was a very nice surprise as we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. The room was really beautiful and comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to use the spa or pool but it gives us a good reason to come back soon to do so!

If you are looking for true 5 star quality in Boston there are much better options. The butler service is more a gimmick than a focus on what a customer wants. The restaurant options are sorely lacking for any kind of decent room service. Quality of the rooms and service was lacking as well even in a large suite setting.
