Luxury in Recoleta
While it may be pricy, this beautiful hotel in Recoleta feels like stepping back in Argentinian history. A beautiful and elegant hotel, it has generally excellent service. The rooms are classy with high ceilings and are well-appointed. The location in the beautiful Recoleta neighborhood is pleasant.

The Best in Every Way
This place I amazing. The staff were so attentive, The food was delicious. The waiters were always ready to make sure your food/drinks were perfect. The location is great. There are plenty of places to walk. It was an absolutely 5-star experience.

Good choice for a stay in Buenos Aries
Beautiful historic hotel. Great service and nice accommodations. Several things to do in the area to include the Recoleta Cemetary with the tomb of Eva Prone. Nice street cafes in the area as well. It was rather hot when we were there, and we could not get the room to cool below about 74F, that was a little warm for us. Also, the lack of outlets to charge (it is an older location I understand it require renovations) items was a small inconvenience. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

Very friendly and helpful people, with great service level, the room was very nice and clean. The concierge explained where to go and what to do and see, even where else to eat outside the hotel. Everything was made easy for us! we always would come back to the hotel.

We just returned from celebrating our son's wedding in Buenos Aires where we spent 8 nights at the Alvear Palace. This hotel and the staff were incredible. Dominique worked with us months in advance in securing multiple rooms with varying check-in and check-out days. Her communication was always immediate. We used the concierge to help us secure tours, and dinner reservations. The food at the hotel was fabulous and we enjoyed our daily breakfast with our friends and family in the beautiful dining hall. If we ever had a concern, they worked with us to find a solution. The front desk was amazing! Besides the great service, the hotel is absolutely gorgeous and in a great location! We walked to the church, the markets, and many of the restaurants. If you are traveling to Buenos Aires, you must stay at The Alvear Palace. (Please note - There are 2 other Alvear Hotels. I never did visit these so cannot comment. However, the Alvear Palace is fabulous!)
