Carlton Cannes, A Regent Hotel

The best hotel service in the south of France. Very nice view, rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had an amazing experience in Cannes. The amenities in the hotel room are very modern and easy to use.

Each and every time we have stayed at the Regent Carlton, Canners, we have an amazing experience. The Hotel’s staff have always been friendly, courteous, and professional. The selection of menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner were exquisites.

A truly wonderful family stay ! The staff is very friendly with true attention to detail. My daughter and I weren't feeling great during the stay and the chambermaid on one particular day sent us complimentary tea with a personal note for my daughter. I particularly appreciated the digital hot water kettle in the room that allows you to customise the water temperature for the tea. Fresh ginger and lemon juice were also so helpful to have everyday to deal with the sore throat. We found out that they had completely remodeled the hotel just the previous year so the wow factor was definitely there. My husband said it was the best room layout/set-up he had seen in all his years travelling (suite with joint room for the kids). Every personalised request was met with a prompt and smiling delivery. I was particularly marked by the beauty of the staff attire (the ladies). Very elegant and classy; beautiful colors. The was an overall feeling of space, amplitude and zen in the hotel. I had the chance to try the spa as well. I had a duo massage with my daughter; it was her first time and she's under 10 so she felt really special during the experience. The next day I had a facial that left me speechless, but my husband as well who was very impressed by the results. I believe the practitioner's name is Seda - she is truly gifted and passionate about her work. Of course the quality of the products is unquestionable. We haven't had many family trips thus far, and this one defintely set the standard very high for the following ones. Thank you, Carlton Cannes !

We stayed at the Carlton a couple of times before the recent renovation and the rooms were definitely tired and dated and in need of refurbishment, but the ground floor lobby area always had a belle epoch charm and a cosy feel. I cannot comment on the rooms as we didn't stay here this time, however, we did twice pop in for an evening drink. Despite the expensive renovation, we found the atmosphere in the lobby to be lacking. The interior decor lacked the cosiness it once had and the refurbishment failed to make the most of the belle epoch features, instead making everything appear to be bland. Music coming from different areas could be heard in the lobby, creating a cacophony of sound - not very relaxing. Service was good, refreshments were fine and the the outside courtyard at the back was very impressive, with a small skating rink and Christmas themes. I am sure that the rooms are now much improved but we never got to see them. We always enjoyed relaxing in the original lobby but the experience is not the same now, at least not for us, which is a pity. For those who didn't see or experience the original elegance of this hotel it may be fine.

Every member of staff deserves the 5 star award all so friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast is always a delight with a fabulous selection from the various serving areas. A good choice of freshly squeezed juices. Eggs freshly coiked to your preference
