Carlton Cannes, A Regent Hotel

Best hotel in Cannes for me and I have been there many times. One of the best stays simply on the newly renovated room and facilities. Service is good to me always but it depends on anyone experiences at particular time. Will always go back and next time with the family and more!

Although a beautiful property, this is a not a place for experienced luxury travelers. We booked a "Garden View Terrace" room for 4 nights. Used AMEX Platinum Card expecting a room upgrade which didn't happen even though there were rooms available. At check-in, we were told room would be ready in a "few minutes" so we walked around the lobby trying to find a place to relax, but there is nowhere, so we went into the restaurant. They never texted me about the room as previously stated, long story short it took nearly 3 hours. We get to the room and it is TINY. Teenie weenie tiny, barely space for a single desk chair, which is the ONLY place to sit besides the bed. The "terrace" was also tiny and surrounded by high greenery with no view whatsoever and very hot, rendering it useless. The A/C control is fake, room doesn't cool below about 73f (23c) and the bedding, while comfortable, sleeps very hot. The beach club will run you a couple hundred bucks for a lounge chair with towels and a couple of soft drinks. And the pool is awful, don't even think about it. A tiny room, falsely advertised "terrace", inaccurate check-in expectations, no place to even sit down in the room, and poor sleep made for a very poor experience. And the hotel is packed with Instagram posers. There is better value just about everywhere.

From the moment we stepped out of our transport from their Airport, this was truly the most exceptional arrival experience I have experienced at a hotel. Each colleague working in tandem to delight us, service delivered with a smile and seamlessly handed off from the valets, to the receptionists and then to the room, where we were presented with an amazing selection of welcome gifts. Our six year old was overcome with excitement when she saw the room and gifts for her! The rooms are spectacular and the fit, finish and detailing is really first class. The bedding was so good I had to get in touch with housekeeping to find out what it was. The riviera restaurant is an incredible place to have breakfast. Service at the beach club was amazing and a great place to hang out for the day and evening. The recent renovation has really elevated this hotel and you can see there is a strong commitment to serving the very high profile guests this hotel seems to accommodate. I can imagine this is no easy task in some cases 😀 Overall, super impressed and thanks for a great visit.

The conceige At the Carlton Cannes was exceptional. From first booking rooms from the uk . Emma helped with booking everything. Including airport transfer for me and the wheelchair Making sure it was okay. Booked a number of restaurants. Checking if okay for me. On arrival, Alice guest relations greeted us. She was welcoming and informative Daphaine at the conceige desk recommendation were excellent. Always greeting us with a smile and answered every question All the staff at the Carlton were special. We hope to return next year

Stayed here for the past few days in Cannes and was very impressed with the hotel. It was very busy when we were there which was a bit deterring when going to breakfast, drinks and the pool but we were happy with the quality and the service. The rooms are gorgeous and housekeeping provides quick 5 star service for turn down and keeping. Only nudge is that day beds are pricey even being a hotel guest. It would be nice if there was a better discount for already being a hotel guest. Concierge was GREAT! They helped me book a day trip to Chateau Esclans and a boat charter.
