The Dewberry Charleston

The Dewberry is a beautiful mid-century modern hotel with exceptional spaces, rooms, and staff. The Citrus Club on the rooftop is a highlight of Charleston. The hotel's spacious property is in the heart of the city, making it a perfect home base from which to tour and explore. Highly recommended!

The spa at the hotel ranks itself as one of the best in town. this last week my wife and i drove up to Charleston from HHI and was looking for a relaxing massage to end our day on. we booked a couples of massage with some confusion regarding availability but got that worked out over the phone, we got to the spa and was greeted by a very nice receptionist, we were shown to the locker rooms where i found the steam room in the men's locker room out of order, should have been my first hint. when the massages started we repeated the request for mild/Swedish massage with relaxing being the number one goal. what we got were two massages that involved elbows, knuckles and medium to heavy medium pressure. we mentioned it and the result was even more knuckles and kneading. prior to the start of the massage one of the persons asked if we were retired and we said semi-retired and she made the comment, well that is good because you wouldn't want my job, my second hint that i ignored. we mentioned the service while we were checking out and they didn't take any action to address it. there are many high end , nice facilities in the area and based on our experience, i would highly recommend using of them rather than this one.

One of the most beautiful and amazing hotels - a must stay in the Charleston area! I cannot say enough about my experience staying at The Dewberry this past week for work. From the very attentive and friendly staff to the beautiful spaces to the incredible rooms with great views to the Volvo Car Service amenity, I could not have asked for a better place to stay! I will definitely be back next time I am in town! 10/10 all around!

Fantastic hotel, great room and the location is perfect. We were visiting for a business conference but can't wait to return and bring the family. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the amenities are great and the service is top notch! Be sure to check out the roof top restaurant/bar, best views in the city!

My husband and I wanted a special place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and The Dewberry was the perfect place. The location is excellent and walking distance to many restaurants, shops and entertainment. The service we were greeted with and continually had during our stay was outstanding. We made some amazing new memories! Christina Couture, the F&B Manager at The Living Room is a treasure and is someone everyone should meet during their stay at The Dewberry. Her knowledge of the hotel itself and the city of Charleston was so valuable!
