The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu

I stayed in the hotel for almost 2 weeks and had a great time. Everyone here is so helpful and courteous. The front desk staff and the concierge staff are all very wonderful. Special thanks to Ning, Austin and the housing keeping staff 徐女士， who have made my stay very enjoyable. The club lounge experience is the best I had among different hotels, go for it! Location is convenient, walking to Tianfu square, Wenshu temple. A longer walk to Chunxilu, but doable.

We have stayed at the Ritz Carlton Chengdu twice in the last month and the hotel truly exceeded our expectations. Rooms are spacious, clean and functional and the housekeeping is excellent. We stayed at club level and it was definitely worth the extra RMB. The lounge offers a nice selection of snacks, food and drinks throughout the day and the breakfast restaurant has a large selection of Chinese and Western dishes of very high quality, the coffee is out of this world good and the staff always friendly, smiling and welcoming. The service was wonderful throughout, but special mentions to the attentive and very personalized managing team in the lounge who ensured every need was met with a smile. Special thanks to Stanley and the manager Hasnain, who were always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The location of the hotel is very central. You can easily walk to some of the major sights, a metro station (Line 4 Luomashi) is close by and there are lots of opportunities for shopping and dining in the vicinity. Special mention to the restaurant Chen Mapo Tofu around the corner of the hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Experienced  in all my travels The Classic  Luxury style and  the location of this hotel appeal to me and it truly  befits the Ritz Carlton brand as seen In the photos ,  but it is the staff that have made my 8 day stay  so memorable.Each mender of the team that  I  have  met was  friendly, welcoming and no request was  to difficult In particular want to  mention  the outstanding  service offered  by the  Club lounge team   Hasnain , Stanley , Joy and Jess .  They went way and above their duty to ensure  that my Vegetarian dietary  need where Also want to mentionThe Concierge team. Carter , Rachael  and Robert  for also providing and exceptional  service that always went above and beyond there duty to help me with my requests Finally i would like to mention Zoey ( quality assurance manager  ) who was always   Joy to chat with and also. Excellent high rise hotel with all the amenities. Luxurious large bathroom with automated toilet. Great security. Restaurant buffet with many options. Staff was very accommodating although they spoke very little English but they used their phones to translate. Walking and crossing streets was a challenge since motor bikes ride on the sidewalks.

Pros. - the best city hotel service I’ve ever experienced - all service personnel know exactly what they’re doing in most efficient way (always connected with earbuds) - the concierge always prepares the elevator for guests and thinks ahead - check in and out extremely efficient and the waiting time is minimum - breakfast was a dream with 5 star quality plus service including chefs - superb room with fantastic view of city - modern and lovely gym at 23rd floor - WiFi even in the elevator (very rare) - bathroom was the highlight
