Great Location
This is one of our favorite hotels in Chicago. Cannot beat the location for shopping, dinning or hitting the bars for a night out. Easy access to Michigan Avenue, Old Town, and many other quaint neighborhoods that are great to explore. Also has easy access to the beach and Lincoln Park.

Frigid outside, warm and inviting Thompson hotel
Hotel in perfect location, easy proximity to Michigan Ave, shopping on Rush St, several bars, restaurants within blocks. Lively lobby, upscale crowd and area, comfortable room, appreciated walk in showers and bath products, definitely great choice!

Excellent - my new Chicago go-to
Incredible! An all around great trip. The hotel was affordable but up to the standard Thompson brand name. We arrived far earlier than our reservation time and was able to get into our room. We had a King corner suite. It was superb. The windows were lovely, the bathroom was luxurious, and the amenities were excellent. Loved our stay. It will be my go-to stay in Chicago going forward. Also loved it's proximity to Gibson's - a fun night out.

Old Classic! Love this hotel and front desk team. Nicole T was super helpful and explain the benefits of staying with Hyatt and gain points. The rooms are clean, neat, comfortable, and always modern. Love this brand! I travel to Chicago twice a month and will only stay here.

Perfect location for shopping and dining
Love the Thompson! Its location is perfect for shopping and dining. The rooms are clean and modern- I absolutely love the pillows and down comforters! They made for an excellent night’s sleep! The staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s lovely to be greeted with a smile. Also, Tavern on Rush has moved into the building and was excellent for brunch and afternoon drinks. I will be enjoying many more stays when I visit Chicago!
