Work covered my stay, so I can’t really compare the experience to the price as I would if I’d paid myself. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with a bed that’s ridiculously cozy. There are loads of pillows—probably too many—and a nice desk for work. The view of the central courtyard is lovely, and the breakfast is impressive, with lots of international options. If it’s not included in your room rate, though, double-check the prices before you dive into a croissant—there are two pricing tiers, and even by the end of my stay, I couldn’t figure them out. The negatives: The Four Seasons is showing its age. The decor could use a proper refresh, and the carpets need a serious deep clean. The shower knob was a guessing game for water temperature, and the only plug socket in my room was about six feet from the bed—not ideal for phone charging. Room service was very expensive, and the food wasn’t that great. That said, I loved staying here. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast team even remembered my name (and sometimes my room). I’d happily come back!

The hotel is centrally located and easily walkable to the chic Polanco, Condessa, and Roma districts. The amenities are extremely comfortable and they expected for season style. The general manager introduced herself to us when we arrived, which was a nice touch. The concierge services were excellent and allowed us to book some wonderful tours in Mexico City. The pool is underwhelming. We traveled during the holidays, and enjoyed the pop-up ice-skating rink, which was maybe the most memorable experience for our children.

Construction-Renovation Be Aware! I recently booked a six night stay at the Four Seasons in Mexico City. There is serious construction underway that is highly disturbing with potentially dangerous fumes. After two failed room changes, I left the hotel as I was feeling quite sick from the noxious vapors. After consulting with a Dr., I was advised to leave the hotel immediately and I went across the street to the Ritz Carlton. The staff at Four Seasons was fantastic and clearly this situation was out of their control. I feel the upper level Management at Four Seasons has an obligation to inform potential guests that there is a serious renovation occurring with toxic fumes that are particularly dangerous to people with asthma and/or other respiratory health issues. I saw many guests and staff members holding towels over their faces, so it wasn’t just me. Before you stay here, make sure that the construction is complete. Assistant Manager Camilla was lovely and tried her very best to help. I have stayed at Four Seasons properties all over the world and this place does not even come close to meeting the expected standards.

1. Gym was too small for a hotel this size. 2. There’s is no spa had my massage in a random hotel room, zero ambiance. 3. Rooms were outdated and character and furniture were cheap and generic. Building and court yard where pretty but I liked the other hotel I stayed at that was half the price much better

great courtyard and breakfast. everything else is meh. bathrooms need a proper refresh. staff is kinda rude. lunch restaurant is not good. bar is not good. pool is not good. concierges super hit or miss. rooms are still nice minus bathroom.
