Enjoying a prime position just above the main gondola in Crans, everything has been designed with calm, comfort and convenience in mind: in fact, the only challenge you'll face is up on the black run. Offering traditional slope-side mountain living with a twist, this “Best of the Alps” resort is celebrated worldwide for its champagne skiing and stylish culture. The 78 Terrace Rooms and suite and the three-bedroom prestige apartment have a Swiss chalet feel and connect guests to the nature outside through their light and airy style, huge bay windows, and doors leading to a private terrace. Natural materials are also used in the design, from the use of quartzite stone facades to local larch and oak, and slate roofs. Bespoke furniture completes the experience, with the solid woods and natural fabrics used throughout Crans-Montana is a capital of world-class sporting events, a stylish center of culture and gourmet restaurants, and a shopper’s paradise of luxury brands. Crans-Montana’s natural charms include 300 days of sunshine a year and exceptional air quality.

The hotel is really nice, the direct access to the slopes is a plus, but the rest is definitely disappointing. Starting from the bad service, in all services, except for the Spa (fabulous) and the Japanese restaurant (great service, but banal and very expensive food). The lack of staff is evident everywhere: in the morning you have to queue to get your skis, ages-long waits at breakfast to get an omelette, asking for something from room service is a lottery (you have to use an app that doesn't work well due to the poor wifi signal in some parts of the building and then the staff forgets half of the order), random housekeeping service with cleaning only in visible areas (under the bed and behind the furniture there is a separate kind of life). Everyone is very nice a try to help, but the lack of organisation is flagrant. It seems that the hotel is structured to operate half empty, but when you pay almost 2000 CHF a night all this is not acceptable. My room was in the newer part so to get to the reception you get lost due to the lack of clear signs. My room had a parking and gondola lift view and in the afternoon you are surrounded by the cacophony of the music of their "apres-ski" and the one at “apres-ski” next door. Incredibly noisy. Whoever thought of making hotel rooms above a disco club has no respect for the customers. The original concept of Six Senses, resting and disconnecting, does not exist here. I speak relatively good French and in French-speaking Switzerland I am happy to speak the local language. Unfortunately, very few people speak French in the hotel. I do not want to be cruel, but even the level of English is pitiful for the majority. Finally, a quick note on the complexity of the room lighting system. I do not know if it is the same in all the rooms, but in mine it was a nightmare. It takes you two days to understand the principle and when you think you have understood it is already time to leave. I was fooled by some articles I read in the press that presented it as one of the best resorts in the Alps, but that is not the reality. I could name a dozen of hotels better than this one in the Alps, some at a lower price. Once again you can do good marketing, but then reality comes out and slaps you. It is a shame that a prestigious brand like Six Senses has been implemented so poorly in Switzerland. In short: potentially fabulous hotel, but very poor service and at that price level it is not acceptable.

We are staying in the hotel. Although the hotel is very good in terms of architecture and hardware, the service is horrible. We had to wait 2 hours for our luggages to be delivered to the room, after many calls the gm had it delivered, Today we asked for extra pillows , called front office 3 times but not delivered at all. However the service in the restaurant , ski rental and spa is very good.

We had an excellent weekend at the six senses crans-Montana, with very personalized service, at the reception, spa, as well as the restaurant. We also got a warm welcome and many nice attentions and surprises (for a Birthday). We highly recommend and will definitely come back.

Terrible service could mean anything from indifference to unrefilled drinks to long waits, all of which (for me) would take away from the meal significantly. No tip, certainly. But the disparity between service and food quality could simply mean a bad hire. Take note of the server’s name. Send the manager a letter (with your reciept), or post a review on Yelp. Praise the food, but be clear about the service. Food was perfect but service in Wild Cabin and Byakko was a nightmare!!!! Something never see before in my entire life! Never again!

Besides the architecture this hotel is extremely far a way to even a 3* Swiss hotel. The personnel is quite young and inexperienced, nobody speaks the local language . They checked us in directly to our spa appointment and then they walk us to our room ( luckily) our room was occupied by a couple that has also complained that the name on TV was no their name .. so embarrassing. 30min after still in outer bathrobes they walked us after the reception checked available room to a second room also occupied and finally to an empty one . We have ordered champagne because the we were celebrating , the bottle wasn’t chilled and we called reception to be changed , 40 min later .. they changed it …we went for dinner and grab a cocktail at the bar who closes at 22:30 and walk back to our room. The key didn’t work !! Back to reception and another long Wait . Next day we scheduled a yoga class and after we got a thank you email with the full list name/ last name of participants.. do they understand privacy breach ? The spa area is small , it was busy so lack of sun-beds, towels and tea , the personnel look rather annoyed than accommodating. We loved the breakfast besides that I guess the an ibis ha hosted us better . The manager has zero empathy nor customer experience sense . A total disaster
