From point of check in to our check out… the service is just beyond fantastic! The location! The accommodating staff, the wonderful breakfast buffet, the full service bar and their Pisco Sours… to the tour of the hotel and its historical site, this place wowed us! Señor Jaime, Señor Alexander, Señorita Sylvia… and everyone else who made our stay memorable… gracias muchisimas! Breakfast to go was terrific and thank you for creating a special one for me every time! I would return to Cusco just to stay in this hotel! The location is convenient, our daily walk around the town after our tour made us appreciate its location. But wait! The room, the bedsheets, the amenities… it’s like the Four Seasons!!! Thank you everyone for making us so happy with our stay at the JW Marriott El Convento Cusco!

What stood out to me at this property was the consistency of the service. I think it's probably the best Marriott we have ever stayed at, as far as the service goes. Literally every person we dealt with at the hotel was amazing, from the front desk staff, to the young man on the omelette station in the morning. All very friendly, professional and attentive. It was a pleasure staying here. I have already recommended this hotel to other friends that are heading to Cusco in a couple of months. The hotel was also beautiful, and in a great location close to the Plaza.

Marriott have gone all out with this hotel. The lobby is breathtakingly beautiful and the hotel's vibe really honours the building's history as a convent. In contrast the rooms are very modern with all the current conveniences. We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer to take part in all the classes and activities being offered. We had a lovely room with an interior balcony overlooking the main courtyard. In the morning I was treated to seeing the lovely little alpaca walking around with its guide who was wearing traditional Peruvian dress. Breakfast had a vast array of choices and was delicious as was our evening meal in the restaurant the night before. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and caring. You can tell they are used to helping out with guests suffering from altitude sickness. They rushed right over to offer assistance when I was feeling a little lightheaded during breakfast. The swimming pool was temporarily closed for maintenance when we were there but we were offered spa discounts to make up for the inconvenience. Really good choice of hotel centrally located in the historic area of Cusco. Perfect for recovering from hiking along the Inca Trail.

Can easily acclaim the title the best hotel in Cosco also by taxi drivers and guides. Situated in a colonial monastery well decorated yet modern feeling. Staff great and and breakfast open from 6 am to allow you to get something before the early starts of all the activities

We stayed here after visiting Machu Picchu for a few days and Cusco did not disappoint. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were some of the friendliest we have ever experienced. The location in the central square is great and there were a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

One of the best hotels I've ever experienced. A hidden treasure blended with beauty and luxury with a modern lifestyle touch, tucked away in a city rich in culture.

Of the many fine attributes of the JW Marriott Cusco, the blending of historical architecture with modern comforts and high design is most unusual and perfectly executed. From the soft lighting to the rich dark woods and stone in the public areas, the understated atmosphere distinguishes itself as belonging uniquely to the Cusco property. And that holds true all the way to the lower levels where the lovely spa is intimately nestled. Not only was the staff properly warm, friendly and bi-lingual, but equally important highly skilled at their duties (which is surprisingly not always the case in fine hotels).
