Awesome hotel. Perfect location for walking, restaurants, and shopping. 5 mins walk from the central square. Very cool historical building, with free tour. The staff was amazingly helpful. Goyo, Elmer, Julio, and others were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I got a massage at the spa and it was one of the better massages that I’ve gotten in the past few years. The breakfast buffet was very good.

The hotel is a beautiful historic property in a fantastic location. Our overall experience with hospitality was mixed. The concierge team, was excellent—helpful and proactive in organizing a fascinating hotel history tour given by Daniel and Emerson providing great restaurant recommendations and reservations. The pisco sour lesson at the bar was fun and informative - Daniel did a great job. The room itself was comfortable, but the single bathroom was surprisingly tiny, especially for a two-room suite designed to accommodate six guests. Breakfast was a highlight: delicious and varied food choices served in a stunning courtyard with attentive and friendly staff. Sadly the Check-in and check-out service left something to be desired. Upon arrival, I requested a late checkout—as a Titanium member, this is typically granted without issue and often offered automatically. Instead, it led to a long, awkward exchange and the front desk staff disappearing for some time before it was finally “approved.” The process felt unnecessarily complicated. There was a convenient coffee station in the room, but it was broken. We mentioned this at checkout, but the comment was brushed off with little acknowledgment.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The staff at every point of this hotel were top notch. Everyone was very accommodating. The rooms were nice, a little dark and without air conditioning so you do need to note that when you stay here. You can open the windows, which we did, to give a nice breeze. The food was good and plentiful at the hotel restaurant and the servers couldn't have been nicer. We left very early 2 mornings for tours and the hotel provided muffins, sandwiches, water, tea and coffee for everyone in the early morning hours. I would absolutely stay here again. Cusco is an amazing place and staying at this comfortable hotel with the best service makes it even better.

The worst Marriott I have ever stayed at. How this is a 5 star hotel is amazing, courtyard mariotts are nicer. My room had a foul order so needed to move rooms, no air conditioning, the spa has a lot of room for improvement. Hotel should be closed for remodeling. Please stay away, i frequent Marriotts and I can't tell you how dissappointed I am.

We stayed two nights at the hotel and although we had booked a room for three using hotels.com, and the accomodation was fully prepaid, we were charged USD252.80 additional at check out for my son's stay and "mandatory" local charges. The age of my son had somehow been incorrectly captured by the hotel.com website (only for this booking among 5 other bookings where this did not happen) but at the time of check in we had clearly been informed we will be charged only an additional USD80 for his stay for 2 nights in addition to GBP 600+ already paid at the time of booking and the USD 76.80 to be charged locally for additional services. At check out it turned out to be a charge of USD 80 per day for my son's stay and this was not clearly communicated. This was very disappointing as we had clarified this at check in and had to pay ina rush at check out. Coffee machine in the room did not work, we tried several times and it didn't even have the right plug for the power socket. Also no electric kettle for tea at night. For rooms priced ultimately at over GBP400 for night for two adults and a child, it felt very sloppy. Otherwise its a historic property, with beautiful architecture and good location. Decent breakfast and the morning cappuccino was pretty good. Staff were generally polite and courteous esp at the door, restaurant and the Rumi bar. Wouldn't recommend though because if poor communication as happened with us and not very good valey for money!
