In a testament to the beauty and magnificence of modernity, where the city of Dublin meets the sea, the gibson hotel exudes chic, urban style with a serene, Zen-like atmosphere. Brilliant glass, shimmering steel, and polished marble give way to hidden bamboo gardens, inviting you to experience Ireland at its finest. Each room is quiet and supremely comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls offering views of the city and mountains in the distance, while plush accommodations ensure a relaxing stay. Bright and warm, each room is crafted from soothing coffee and cream colors, with all the modern amenities, and a flowing, graceful ambiance. Step out from your own private haven at The Gibson Hotel, a Summit Hotels & Resorts property, part of the Preferred Hotel Group, and into the vibrant city of Dublin, for a truly unforgettable time.

Heavy handed security. Family gathering and security staff advised that they didn’t permit U18’s in bar after 9pm. Security staff were too anxious to put people out. Please note they approached children and were not qualified to speak to children(Children First) . In our opinion there were under 18’s in the bar but were not approached. Why so selective.

We were going to a gig in the 3 Arena so we stayed here. The location is brilliant, easy to get to from Belfast and right beside the arena. The hotel itself is a real mixed bag. Staff were friendly, if not a bit hard to hear because of the noise bouncing round the minimalistic reception area. The bar area was packed as there was an event on in one of their rooms. We got food in the bar, it was ok if not a little over priced for the portion size. The room was brutally basic, and our view in to - what I’m guessing was meant to be some form of garden type area - was not really befitting of a 300 Euro a night room. The room was definitely not the cleanest, looked like bits of tobacco stuck to the curtains and generally a bit grubby and dusty. The room, and hotel in general is soulless and devoid of any form of character. The breakfast wasn’t bad the next day.

Excited to stay in The Gibson as we had a concert in the 3arena literally across the road and of course seeing where they film first dates. My first reaction the reception area was very dull and tbh not very welcoming. Staff were very nice and welcoming. We recieved our room key and headed to freshen up before heading to the bar for food. Room was beautiful and very spacious. Bed was very comfy. We headed to the bar for drinks and again wouldn't be a bar I could say was cosy. To open and seating wasnt very comfortable. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially Edlison...always smiling and was so nice. We had food which was very nice. We had breakfast up in our room and it was OK, sausages and rashers were very nice but I ordered coffee and got 2 pots of tea... no salt... the orange juice was tasteless. I got scambled egg and couldn't eat it as it was so watery and more like slop, tasteless. Definitely for confidence for concerts etc, yes....but moneys worth definitely not! Way overpriced and I've stayed in nicer for alot less.

Cool hotel, stylish rooms, interesting art, good resto, tasty breakfast, friendly service. Luas tram red line stop by the hotel, near The Point 3 Arena and River Liffey. I bought TFI Leap visitor card 3 days unlimited travel around Dublin and DART €16.50. I’ll be back!

Customer service was exceptional!! We had an issue with room service and the manager Imteaz Boodhun could not have been anymore helpful and nice to us. We were given complementary breakfast for the inconvenience. Would definitely stay again.
