By no standard is the Intercontinental in Dublin a 5 star resort. The rooms are dated, there is no attention to detail as I’ve seen at other resorts that are actually in this category. If this was a much less expensive 3 star hotel I’d say it was satisfactory but at this tier there is no excuse for bad beds, barely working showers and dated amenities (TV is many generations old, lights flicker in room, feel springs in mattress etc). Would not return and makes me hesitant to try other of the brand. After our stay they did comp our room service as an attempt to make up for it.

Stunning hotel. We went with our two children for a treat for Easter and we were not disappointed. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous, room was spotless and the kids had designated times at the pool which was fabulous. They loved the pool and the staff were just amazing. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful hotel with exceptional staff. Everyone we encountered were so friendly and on top of any requests we had. The rooms were spacious and very well kept. We had a wonderful lunch in the lounge. This hotel really ensures the brand standards are met and maintained. Top notch stay!

From the valet parking to the breakfast team and everyone in between you get a 5 star service here. Yes the price tag is a little more than your average hotel but this is no average hotel it's 5 start luxury from the door to the rooms. Breakfast was 10/10 the staff were 20/10 for example i rang to find the ice machine and I still don't know where the machine is because they insisted on brining ice to us and within mins we had ice. The bed was out of this world made getting up to do anything very challenging. We can't wait to come back

In the middle of my stay here and it’s a mixed bag. On the surface things are attractive and seem high end, but once you’re settled it’s a different story. We’re in a junior suite, which is spacious. The bed, though large, is incredibly uncomfortable (very hard with springs you can feel). The shower doesn’t drain well (stepping into a cold puddle first thing in the morning is jarring to say the least), the shower head is very old, and the caulking is in desperate need of replacing. The power outlets seem to have issues (phone charges, but computer doesn’t) and the lamps flicker randomly. There is good coffee in the room, which I appreciate, and breakfast in the restaurant is lovely. Overall not a four star experience, and definitely not somewhere I would stay again on my next trip to Dublin.

Beautiful hotel, staff friendly, efficient and helpful and the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The chauffeur service was great too. Absolutely loved this hotel, thanks for a lovely stay and will definitely stay again!

Have just returned from a 3-night break at your wonderful hotel. The service was excellent throughout, especially in Seasons Restaurant. Everything was perfect, thank you.
