My daughter and I had a wonderful time. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly - they did everything possible to make us feel welcome. A special thank you to Orla and her team at Reception for their kindness and for looking after us so well. We are really looking forward to our next visit.

In a word: perfect. From the moment we arrived and our car was greeted with a warm welcome, to the smooth check-in process, every detail of our stay was flawless. The staff, without exception, were attentive and professional — the bar staff and waiters were exceptional, ensuring every interaction felt personal and genuine. A highlight of our stay was the wonderful afternoon tea, which was an experience in itself — elegant, indulgent, and steeped in tradition. It might sound cliché, but the hospitality at The Shelbourne made us feel as though we were at home, wrapped in luxury and comfort. We will cherish the memories of our time here and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend! I gave The Shelbourne a ten because it perfectly delivers on the Autograph Collection promise. First class hotel.... The lady who helped us check in at the front desk was from Argentina and was probably the nicest lady I have ever met... Great staff and wonderful hotel. I would stay there again if I ever return to Dublin! My son and I ate in the restaurants and food was great too!

We have been to Dublin many times but first time staying here here. What a pleasure it was. First of all we met Greg at the door and through out our stay had a few chats with him. Very knowledgeable in all things to do with Dublin (even if I did inform him of how to get a pint at 10 o'clock Sunday morning 🤫). Next meeting was with Dora on reception quick and efficient on checking us in and whenever we went to reception she always made us feel important. Later on We had the privilege of being shown around the hotel my Aisling. Was told the history of the hotel, the important place that the hotel has within Irish history. We seen important papers that are only there and in the Doyle. Rooms where culture changing decisions where made. The passion that Aisling gave out while telling us the stories of events and the people who have stayed there was second to nothing. We could tell this is not only her job it's is her pride her passion, the hotel and Irish history. We met a lot of staff sorry can't remember there names. Managed to visit every bar there. Very nice bloody Mary from Michael in the residents lounge and a nice night cap and chat from Ben late at night. Our room was on the 8th floor over looking the original building and out to see the Wicklow mountains absolutely stunning. To you the general manager you have a great team and we are sure you are very proud of them Karen and Alec 🇮🇪🍀
