Amazing hotel
Beautiful hotel with amazing service! We were looked after from start to finish, it really sets this hotel a league above the others. Clean, spacious and quirky rooms, comfy beds and stunning decor throughout. I would definitely recommend.

The perfect place to stay for short trip to Edinburgh!
The best hotel stay in Edinburgh! Everything was perfect. Nothing negative to add. Breakfast was more than we expected. The room was very comfortable, the tea and coffee bar with the chocolate - amazing! We also added breakfast to our stay, which fed us perfectly for our daily adventures. Simply perfect.

This hotel is really funky and beautifully decorated. Lovely spaces, bar and art. Breakfast is amazing and staff are so friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble. Our room was good and nicely done although it needed a couple of wall hooks for coats. We had a really great three nights here over Hogmanay and would definitely stay in a Virgin hotel again. One issue that needs addressing though is the nightclub on the street outside the hotel - it pumps out music until 4.30am and interrupted our sleep on two nights. Perhaps the hotel could come to an arrangement that they stop the noise after midnight - its really loud and so selfish to affect everyone in the area with the noise!!

An amazing stay for our family Christmas vacation
We were a family of 5 staying over the Christmas holidays. We had a beautiful suite, with fabulous amenities. The staff all went above and beyond to help with any request or question we had, and were beyond friendly. The place is gorgeous, the Oculus lounge is beautiful, the library is beautiful, the food and drinks at Eve were fantastic. The location is so handy right in Old Town. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Edinburgh and would highly recommend it.

The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The hotel is in a great location in old town and the staff were so helpful. The bar was great, the view from our room of the castle was amazing. Cannot fault it really. The rooftop terrace gives great views. I won't stay anywhere else when I go back.
