Grand Isle Resort & Spa

This was the most beautiful wonderful vacation my family has ever had. The resort is like something out of a dream. It is captivating in its beauty right on the water and the residences are well maintained, luxurious, clean, and spacious. It was a quiet, calm, and peaceful place. The staff is above and beyond excellent service and hosts making sure we were taken care of and whatever we needed were helpful and happy to assist. Wonderful professional people who work there. Everything you need is there and/or close to have your vacation. One of the highlights was our spa day with Shelly and Kevica. They took great care of us and gave us a luxurious relaxing and pampering experience including massage and facial. Again, so professional, kind, courteous. I have visited many spas in different locations, but these service providers are the best. I could not have asked for a better experience in the entire stay. I hope to come back someday.

The truth is that in terms of infrastructure the hotel is unbeatable, the quality of the villas is very good, very clean and spacious. Where there is a big point of improvement is in the staff who work at the hotel, especially at reception they are quite unfriendly and paying what you pay to be in the resort I think it should improve... I have to admit that the manager of the restaurants was very nice every day. What should be improved is the food, although it is correct, it is very improvable...

From the moment we arrived, I knew we picked the right place. Our suite was ready on arrival and our luggage was delivered before we arrived to the room. Champagne on arrival. Very friendly staff across the board. Food at the restaurant was so good that we ate many of our meals there. Snorkeling on site was excellent. The beach was lovely with plenty of lounge chairs and a lot of shade from palm trees. The place is spotless, quiet and the room very comfortable and spacious. Absolutely cannot find fault with anything. Parking lot has room for your rental car and there are security guards, cameras and locked gates. All of our excursion operators said this resort is the best on the island. I plan on returning next year to this hotel.

If you are looking for rest and relaxation, you have found the spot. We spent 5 nights in a one bedroom beachfront villa, no complaints at all. I would however recommend using Open Table to book dinner reservations at 23 North prior to your arrival.

I just spent 4 nights at Grand Isle for a Mother /Daughter trip and neither of us wanted to leave. The food in 23 North and Palapa exceeded our expectations. Everyone had a smile and was always will to help. Kevon waited on us two days in a row - at Beach and Pool - always with a smile and his phrase “I got ya” Desiree at Palapa restaurant went out of way to help. Joe the General Manager also had a smile and checked on us to make sure we were happy. We had a two bedroom condo that was amazing. This trip is what we both needed. Thanks Grand Isle.
