We had a great stay and got to experience both quality food and service from both the staff of the pulmon Resturant and from Liam who worked in the hotel bar and helped us created our own cocktail to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary and went out of his way to look after us which we much appreciated. We plan to go back and stay in the hotel in the near future.

I had emailed the hotel at the beginning of the week and no response so i will leave my review here publicly instead. As part of our honeymoon, my husband and i are staying in 5 star hotels around Ireland and this by far was the worst place we stayed in. Firstly, a positive- food in the Pullman and breakfast was very good and would give it 5 stars. But everything else we experienced was poor. We emailed the hotel 24hours before arrival advising them of our early arrival and if it would be possible for our room to be ready- despite this- our room wasnt but thats ok as it clearly says check in times. However- we went for treatments in the spa and had asked our keys to be dropped there to save us getting out of our dressing gowns etc but reception refused so we had to change into our clothes and go to reception to collect our keys. In the cocktail bar, i had a drink poured over my outfit by the bar man who have me a cloth and walked off. I had to change my outfit and i have had to dry clean all my items to which i wasnt reimbursed. At breakfast, we queued for approximately 25minutes, yet when we got close to the top of the queue we counted 6 available tables which were not cleaned/set up for guests to sit at. Finally, general appearance was poor and poorly presented. Attention to detail and customer service are part of a 5 star hotel and this was way below my expectation- windows in the breakfast room filthy, lampshades hanging off lamps and ceiling lights and candles in candleabras also hanging sideways. Was more like faulty towers than a luxurious hotel. My advice would be to eat in thr Pullman for a food experience but dont waste your money staying there. So so so disappointed.

We took a family trip to Ireland and used Glenlo as our base. We stayed at The Lodges and took full advantage of the grounds. Golfed, had High Tea, enjoyed Palmers, and had the greatest experience with Jason with Falconry. Great time had by all

Really enjoyed our stay here. The Pullman is a must when you are here. A big shout out to Tita who really looked after us and made the night so special along with Thomas. They are a pleasure to encounter. The food was spectacular and couldn’t fault any of the courses offered in the Pullman. Such a special experience.

Just recently hosted a work group (pan-European team) in Glenlo Abbey for 3 days. We booked a meeting room plus bedrooms and dining in Palmers for lunch and The Pullman restaurant (outstanding) for dinner. Everything about the experience was 5-star. The staff were so helpful and friendly, from the concierge, to the barman to the receptionist, everyone was so welcoming. The hotel itself is immaculate and tasteful (congrats to the designer and the easter decorations procurer) and the setting is magical. I will 100% bring another team back here again soon. Proud to bring them to such a beautiful place in Ireland and for them to experience a proper cead mile failte. Well done Glenlo!
