Hotel d'Angleterre, Geneva

From the moment we arrived to drop off our luggage and return our hire car the concierge team were super helpful and thoughtful. Amongst the best I have ever met in 20+ years of travelling around Europe. I only wish I could name them as I'd love to highlight their professionalism and thoughtfulness. The desk staff were equally helpful, warmly welcoming and always looking to make our stay a special one. We ate in the Windows restaurant and the food was great, the service top notch, and the wine choice suitable for all tastes and wallets! The room was warm and comfortable and there were some lovely touches. Would be very happy to recommend this lovely hotel to anyone staying in Geneva, and we will definitely stay here again next time we're on our way back from the Alps.

We only stayed one night but loved the place. It is old school in appearance, but in a really appealing way. Lots of wood, beautiful furnishings, etc. I could not believe the quality of the art. I had four Salvador Dali prints in my room and what looked like a Chagall print. Service was exceptional. The concierge chose an excellent Italian restaurant for in old town. Great place if you’re coming or going with skis and boot bags - they store them for you while you’re a guest.

Excellent hotel in a great location The rooms are clean and quiet, and the bed is very comfortable. every room has a different design, all of them in a retro style. Breakfast was very good with fresh ingredients the most unique part is the hospitality. everyone was so welcoming, it makes you feel you are the most special guest. thanks!

The PHENOMENAL staff went out of their way to take care of all of our wishes and needs with plenty of grace and a smile on their face! Very resourceful, outgoing and polite: receptionists and concierge in particular. Our room was extremely comfortable and we felt very welcome throughout our short stay! Lovely breakfast, great coffee. Looking forward to returning for another stay!
