InterContinental Geneva

Had to stay for one night to the hotel to be close to the airport. Very convenient for one night stay. The room was spacious as it was the clasic room and the view was very nice i could see the city and the lake but they are a bit old a renovation is needed and the bed was not so comfortable. Although i was in the 15 floor i could hear a lot of noice from the road and the blinds are not automatic you have to do it by yourself. The room service menu was very good many and nice options there. Staff were very polite. Had dinner to the bar, had one of the most tasty entrecote steaks i've ever had. Overall a good one night stay.

staff were great .. birthday trip breakfast was exceptional,room was a perfect view of the lake . Concierge was friendly and kind very informative. Was given a transport voucher for the day which was brilliant , as the transport system is efficient in Geneva

All encompassing and wonderful stay, good amenities, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the beds well laid and succulent to sleep on. There was no noise and I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend it if you're coming to Geneva on vacation.

Great place, close to United Nations. There is a bus that stops at the door ,number 5, that takes you downtown, very easy. Staff super nice: Salome at the front desk! And Albert and Vincent, concierge’s desk, who went above and beyond to help my friend and me with sightseeing.

We stayed here with a Viking cruise. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is helpful and very friendly. The location is a 45 min walk to the areas we were interested in or a short Uber ride. There is a CoOp within a 5 min walk. Great grocery store with plenty of options. The rooms are standard for what you would expect with Intercontinental rooms. We did ask to have our room location changed because of the construction outside the window, we were not able to take a nap after a long bus travel morning. The noise was loud and I could not sleep. We were moved to a room on the other side of the hotel on a lower floor and without a view of the lake but at least I did not have the noise to keep me awake. Our friends were moved to a suite but when I questioned the category we were in, I was told that it was a mistake that both of their rooms were upgraded to suites free of charge and we would not be able to receive a suite. We were all traveling together, so I did not understand that situation but did not question the reception person. We are returning to this same hotel in a few days so I hope we have a better experience with our room.
