Be aware. Warning
Shocking experience. I have been to the Langham Gold Coast as a local a number of times and to events.i also have stayed at the Langham in Sydney. Melbourne and London. Today's experience was shocking and ruined both my friends' and my my Christmas lunch. The restaurant is no longer available and open in the afternoon. This should have been a warning that they are no longer open in afternoons, The service teribble, gone has the personal and great service from well presented and well mannerd staff . We were ignored for a period of time in a completely empty foyer.we found our own seat to be told we had to leave in a few hrs. which was ok . We then tried to order and waited a while for the staff member to come to us. We then ordered , this took around 45 mins for the food to arrive .the fish was undercooked and raw .to the point it should have been advertised as sushi. The beef was so raw and so lacking in taste . Then the flys .the whole process on food to table of 4 ordered .was around 1 hr . Discussed with the bar manager very softly at the change in the Langham . Not much Christmas decorations. Very disappointing. If you are a travlers and wanting an exclusive upmarket experience, unfortunately, the Langham Gold Coast is no longer the place .

Wedding weekend family experience
Website could be improved, a map of the hotel would be useful, not the easiest to navigate either the hotel itself, nor the website. Plans of apartments would also be helpful. Menu access for dining options would also help. In some ways the website does not adequately reflect how superlative the hotel is.

Excellent service and great location next to beach
Location is excellent next to the beach and the staff are amazing, they provided excellent service and were responsive to requests. They made sure anything we requested was attended to. Thing to note, if you are looking for closely located other restaurant options for breakfast / lunch / dinners, it means either a 15min walk or travelling to another location. The hotel buffet breakfast is amazing, with plenty of food choice.

Not bad
As soon as you arrive you can tell it’s a 5 star hotel the rooms are nice but we did have a dozens of insects like drain flies in our room and corridor for three nights. The food was great but the bud mains are to large and the lamb shoulder had to many Indian spices that you could not taste the lamb. Probably would not stay again.
