Kachou Fuugetsu, the philosophy of discovering oneself through nature, is at the core of the hotel experience at Higashiyama Niseko Village, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve. Self-revelations can arise while appreciating the local origins of what's on your plate, embracing the power of solitude while on a mountain trek or discovering the healing elements of Japan's hot springs. For resort guests, Hokkaido offers more than beauty; it inspires change.

Fantastic location, staff so friendly and Rio who checked us in was great. The rooms are lovely and large, dinner was amazing and the decor of the hotel is so relaxing. Well worth a stay and it even snowed when we were there. I want to go back to ski soon

We truly had high hopes for our stay here. However, as time went on, we found ourselves increasingly making excuses for the hotel's shortcomings, perhaps in an attempt to justify the considerable expense of our reservation. To their credit, the hotel's concierge service efficiently arranged transportation from CTS and secured dining reservations for us. Arriving late at the hotel around 11:00 PM, the check-in process left much to be desired. We were swiftly handed our keycards, directed to the elevator, and left to fend for ourselves. Room and overall decor felt like the designers put in every attempt to cover up a building that was destined to be more of a Courtyard Marriott rather than a Ritz Reserve. A very valiant attempt, but several parts of the guestrooms lacked functionality and just lacked cohesive flow The dining experience was inconsistent. We enjoyed an exceptional lunch, ranking among the best we've had in Japan, only to be sorely disappointed by a subsequent dinner service at the same restaurant. Take my advice and stay at the Park Hyatt across town. You won't regret it.

This was our favourite stay during our two week Japan vacation. The Ritz Higashiyama is an absolutely wonderful hotel with amazing views and a very warm and helpful staff. The entire aesthetic of the hotel is very warm and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful and the onset is just amazing and rejuvenating ! The grounds around the hotel are lovely and made for some great walks and views . Now the food- we had the most delectable omakase meal at this hotel, we still dream about it! The food overall was delicious and fresh. We loved eating at the restaurant here. Despite coming in somewhat low season, we had a wonderful experience. They also helped us book a trip to Lake Toya which was stunning! Overall, an amazing stay in beautiful surroundings! We will definitely be back.

one of the resort that only sent me decorated towels on my birthday, I am very spoiled by 5 star resort, I got shocked and disappointed that I only gotten folded towels. the best thing in this property is the skin in and out. they carried your goods. breakfast was priced 7500 yen. ridiculous. and you only can pick 1 type of food which is two eggs. we need fuel for the ski. the fnb are so boring, the sushi is good but expensive and really not worth the price. they have hotel courtesy car, but they cant drive you around, they told you to wait in the bus stop and drag your luggage when you want to move hotels. sad. we stayed in a fee properties during our 15 nights stay. this one is the most horrible and expensive. advice go stay at the park hyatt and read my review for park hyatt.

Great winter holiday destination hotel in Niseko. The hotel is new and I just spent 2 nights with my family in Ritz Carlton Reserve in a snowy days in Niseko. The place is cozy and onsen is outstanding. It is also easy to get access to ski and ski equipments are classy. One bed room suite with twin bed room connecting is truely large for family. Thanks for receptionist Yuika. Highly recommended for holiday maker.
