Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong

The Island Shangri-la is a beautiful hotel with friendly and professional staff. The daily plate of fruits as well as the peanuts that come in a nice wooden box were a novelty. Very nice, considering some other hotels only give the fruits on the day of check in. The breakfast buffet spread was very good. The Horizon Club lounge was comfortable and cozy. Stay was very comfortable and the view of the harbour was fantastic. The only grouse I have is about the conditioner, shampoo, and body cream. They were awful. My conditioner wasn't a conditioner, and my hair although was straight and not knotted up, it was rough and almost got damaged. Even my aunt who has short hair complained about it. I had to give myself a hair mask when I got home. As for the body cream, it just won't absorb into the skin. Please replace the supplier.

Fantastic location, just a short walk from Admiralty Station, Hong Kong Park, and the Peak Tram station. The hotel is conveniently connected to Pacific Place, offering a variety of dining and shopping options. We stayed on the family floor and had an incredible experience with the Family Experience Team. They were extremely friendly, patient, and welcoming, ensuring our stay was both enjoyable and memorable. We were also grateful for the thoughtful attention to our pre-arrival requests. The Hangout and Pantry on the family floor were well-equipped with all the essentials for traveling with a toddler, making it so convenient. Plus, the food and drinks were absolutely delicious!

We stayed here last February and came back and stayed at this hotel again because the last time we were here we love it, they have big rooms and the staff are accommodating and of course Nicole was very accommodating to us. We will surely come back!

My wife & I absolutely love your 6 night stay at the Island Shangri La in March. The hotel has a very great location connected to the Pacific Place mall (which in our humble opinion is much better than the Landmark Mall) & above the HK Admiralty MTR station. It is also across the small road to HK park which we walked through to the Peak Tram station in 10 min. Our renovated peak view room has very lush & green views of HK’s luxurious mid level & Victoria Peak areas. The room is so space & so comfortable, very nicely renovated. All the meals we had at the hotel, including the daily buffet breakfast at Cafe Too are delicious & excellent. But the BEST part of our stay is the wonderful services given by all staffs. We want to sincerely thank the following: Ms. Tiffany (Front Desk dept) who so graciously checked us in, Ms. Nicole (Guest Relations) who was so helpful & nice checking us out. Mr. Ken Yiu & Mr. Allan Yan at Cafe Too. Both so nice to us! Seeing Mr. Allan’s warm & big smile & greeting by him each morning really made our day so nice! Ms. Melanie Chan (service Centre) is very welcoming. Most noteworthy are the gracious & welcoming team at the Horizon Club: Mr. Dave, Mr. Jacky, Mr. Tim, and the 2 managers Mr. Leo & Ms. Joyce. Both Mr. Leo & Ms. Joyce work so hard to serve each guests & us to the Best of their abilities. We want to sincerely thank Ms. Joyce for her warm welcome each day. We remember her big smile, her wonderful sense of humor, her dedication to the hospitality industry, & her excellent service attitude. She & Mr Leo made us feel so welcome at the Club. Our heartfelt Thank You’s to these wonderful staffs who made our stay so special & so fantastic! And although we did not get a chance to meet the GM in our person, a big Thank You to you who provides such excellent trainings & outstanding leadership to all our staffs & teams. We just booked a 2 week stay at the Island SL at the end of Nov to mid December. We very much look forward to coming to stay at our favorite hotel in HK.
