Nowhere like it on the planet!
A 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration made perfect. The hotel and the team are amazing. And to have access to the park and the falls outside of opening hours is so special - a truly unique experience. The staff were really engaged and our stay and celebration were perfect examples of Belmond’s “Slow Luxury” philosophy. If you can, go around full moon time when the Lunar Rainbow excursion is an absolute must. An amazing property with a brilliant team. Thanks to all.

Excellent location and service
Very expensive, but it deserved. The hotel has a uniquly good location and quality service. The hotel's interior condition was very elegant. Hotel staffs were also very nice.

Excellent experience for family
The hotel is excellent in every aspect. From your arrival to the departure. The care with each detail in hotel can be seen starting in the reception, with an amazing decoration which contributes to a great energy and vibe. The rooms are comfortable and the housekeeping is excellent. I'd like to highlight the gastronomy. The restaurants are excellent, offering options for each taste, including vegetarians and vegans. The Y restaurant in particular can ensure an experience that you can only find in fancy restaurants in big cities.

We stayed at Hotel Cataratas at the end of our 17 days in Brazil. A perfect ending. Our room was charming and comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel neglected to make arrangements for our transport from the airport (which was included in our LL package), but they made up for the error many times over during our stay, including a complementary guide when we visited the Iguassu Falls on the Argentina side. The location of the hotel also provides access to the viewing trails for the falls during hours when the park is closed to other tourist. A real bonus that is not available to those staying in the hotel in the Argentinian park. Next time I stay at Hotel Cataratas I'll coordinate my trip with a full moon!
