An oasis among the rugged outcrops of the Aravalli mountain range, Amanbagh is a Rajasthani retreat informed by Mughal style. The countryside surrounding Amanbagh reveals the ruins of an ancient empire embedded in a starkly beautiful landscape. The 17th-century township of Bhangarh - abandoned just a generation after its completion - sits nearby, as does the centuries-old village, fort and temple of Ajabgarh, which can be reached by foot or camel from the resort. Sariska National Park, home to tigers, jaguars, sambar deer and more, is a short drive away, as is the temple town of Neelkanth, with more than 80 temples encircled on all sides by mountains. Just 90 minutes from Jaipur, the Bengal tiger sanctuary of Sariska National Park is a short drive away.

Fraud or policy … I have been there for lunch … they people mostly entertain the caucasian people only anyways they allowed us in the restaurant asked us to pay min 20 k per person that was fair enough… when I entered i felt staff were little rude. Mr gautam the front office guy . That’ was also ok after had lunch I asked for the bill there was service charges were added . I asked mr santosh to remove he said sir it’s not possible. Although in india you can’t force any one to pay the service charge. May be they do scam with Caucasians also … it’s my advice if you going to stay in this hotek read the policy’s . Although taj rambagh palace also charges 1200-1500 usd per night but this hotel and staff is not professional

My wife and I recently stayed here during our honeymoon trip to India — a beautiful hotel with a incredibly relaxing aura. The rooms were beautifully presented. The food was fantastic with such a wider range of cultural dishes from around the country. The staff were wonderful — we went for rooftop cocktails each evening looking forward to our conversations with Nikil who who tell us everything we wanted to learn about India. Our highlight though was the hotel organising an excursion to a mountain fort where we had a private yoga session overlooking the valley. I would highly recommend Amanbagh to any visiting this part of Rajasthan.

Where to start…from the warmest welcome song to the magical anniversary dinner on the balcony, this place has enchanted us. The hotel is an oasis of peace and beauty. The rooms make you feel as if you are a Maharajah or Maharani, the wildlife is a constant source of interest and the food is absolutely delicious. So much of the produce comes from the hotel’s own gardens; it’s some of the freshest and often delicate food we’ve ever had. The staff, led by the charming hotel manager Harry, are excellent and knowing how supportive the hotel is of the local community makes staying here feel beneficial as well as self-indulgent! I absolutely loved that if you put a little wooden carving on your bed each day to show you don’t need your sheets changed (and let’s face it people, who needs their sheets changed every day - you don’t do that at home I hope), the money saved on washing gets put into community projects instead. We tried to do most of the excursions and they were all lovely, giving you a real flavour of the local area’s history, culture and beauty. Amanbagh will live long in our memory and maybe we will get to come back for our next ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ holiday!

This was the best Aman we have stayed in. It was the nicest hotel I think we have ever stayed in (and we do a lot of luxury travel). The service was EXCELLENT. We had a server named Sparsh and he was so kind and attentive. The rest of the staff bent over backwards to assist. The actual property was also gorgeous. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s worth every penny!

My stay at Amanbagh was magical! The property itself is stunning and very peaceful. The pool villa was beautiful and I loved the minimalism. Swimming in the private pool, especially during the rain and with all the natural sounds from the forest, was special. The experiences curated by the hotel are not to be missed, and the fact that the tour guides are local people from the surrounding villages make it a genuine and truly special experience. All staff at Amanbagh were extremely hospitable, the GM Ritesh was around all the time, and service was super efficient. The SPA was one of the highlights for me too, thanks to Sonam and his team of skilled therapists! I cannot wait to return!
