I had my wedding at the Hotel Kansas City this past weekend and it was beyond expectation. The hotel itself is stunning and right in the center of everything downtown. The lobby sets the tone and the event spaces / ballrooms are BEYOND. The rooms are design forward and clean, and the food/bar was incredible. There's so many spaces inside this building to explore and such a long history. The catering and event staff were incredibly attentive and gave us such a wonderful weekend with friends and family.

Good location right in middle of P&L District, but other than that would not spend the money. Room was ok, not a fancy room and old. Our room had shower and toilet in same room with double doors needed to close to use either. Very small table for coffee maker in corner. Not a bad room, just old and not fancy. Ice makers are too old to operate.

Beautiful bar/lounge/lobby area. Beautiful room. Friendly staff. I loved working from the lobby/lounge/bar area from the corner seat and table near the window in my room. The bathroom was large and clean. I also used the fitness center and it was in good condition.

I was there for a quick stay to see the nearby Creed and 3 Doors Down concert. My Brother said he’d heard good things about this hotel and so I treated myself (instead of staying with the brother 😁). And I’m really glad I did. I saw the concert at the TMobile center and it was a quick walk. The staff was all kind and helpful. I had to call twice bc navigating KC downtown is a little different than STL, so trying to understand the parking was little bit more complex. The hotel does tell you on the website they’re valet only and tried to help me find other overnight garages but they had some different hours and the pricing difference didn’t make sense, so I did end up valeting. And they were also very kind and helpful for someone who NEVER uses that service. And they had venmo so I could tip (bc I wasn’t planning on valeting). The room was clean and I liked the overall look and feel. A little below “luxury” but nice for this middle class girlies night out on the town. (and what do I really know about luxury) It did feel lux with the furnishings tho. I loved that the equip the TV with chrome cast so I could easily adapt to all the apps I typically use (I use google TV and google speakers at home- don’t was an easy adaptation for me) they also had a bluetooth speaker which was a nice touch. The mini bar had some good options but I wasn’t there long enough to spend the money. I loved the spacious shower and set up of the bathroom. I was able to touch up my makeup, use their hair dryer, and do otherwise hygienic things. The other great thing is the app. Check in was so smooth, I did it all from the app and once I was in my room the app was also extremely informative. And the UI is easy to navigate as well. My view wasn’t the greatest, but it still showed me a very beautiful sunrise. (beware of surrounding road construction, it starts EARLY, I live in STL city not near construction, I couldn’t fall back to sleep). The only negative I really have besides wanting more parking info on their website (again, they do tell you they’re valet only, I just wish I’d had a link or something to the nearby overnight garages, I’m better with visual directions). Is that my phone key never worked in the elevator but worked at my door. I didn’t proactively try to solve this so idk if was my issue or the app. But it’s something to be aware of. Overall, The Kansas City Hotel is ina. great location for the City, close to many things, had a lovely staff, and a very restful room. I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a nice time. I almost wish I could’ve stayed longer, and have definitely added it to my favorites. Thanks Hyatt for a great night out!

This is a super cute hotel. It is close distance to the T- Mobile arena. The checkin process was flawless. We were greeted like we were special. The room was beautiful and cozy! It felt very modern, but timeless. We had a comfy bed and huge bathroom. We would totally come back!
