Easter Break

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Once again we had a fabulous stay in the lovely Killarney Park. Firstly I would like to mention the newly refurbished bedrooms which are absolutely stunning and are a credit to all my involved. I always book directly with the hotel and Mary in reservations is so easy and efficient to deal with and makes sure we are well taken care of. We dined two nights in the Garden Bar and the food was excellent. Breakfast each morning was delicious and as always the charming Dora went out of her way to be friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend a visit to the Spa. I went during our stay and had a wonderful treatment with the really lovely sweet Ami. So relaxing. The staff in this hotel are what makes a visit here so special! All of them are wonderful but just a few I would like to mention in particular are Declan, who brought us to our room after we checked in, Norma in reception and Ray in the Garden Bar all of whom are always so friendly and helpful. Whilst the weather was not on our side this time you can quite happily spend a few days just relaxing in the beautiful ambience of the Killarney Park. Read a book or enjoy tea and scones (as I did) sitting in the library with its welcoming cozy fires. It’s a little bit of heaven to escape from the real world. Thanks to all for another wonderful stay and we are already looking forward to a return visit.

Warm and Gracious - Best hotel in Killarney!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We have just returned from our self-guided tour through Ireland, and the Killarney Park was the perfect place to stay in Killarney! Upon arrival, the greeting by staff was so welcoming, warm, and gracious. We immediately felt cared for and excited to tuck in for two nights. The hotel recently completed a 6 month closing to renovate all of the guest rooms, and they have moved into the modern era with full electrical updates that are superior, yet may require just a bit of a tutorial. We were escorted to our room to be sure we understood all of the amenities. The decor of the room was lovely with crisp bedding and a beautiful seating area with rich butter velvet on the sofa and designer fabric pillows with a garden theme tucked next to a fireplace. We enjoyed dinner in the Garden Bar after a long day of exploring the countryside, and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. The live piano music was the perfect backdrop to the beautiful scenery outside the windows and the rich, elegant interior of the bar and dining area. It was apparent that people made their way to the local bar to hear the music as many patrons stopped to thank the musician on the way out. Our waiter was so cheerful and fun and took great care of us! The invaluable employee of the The Killarney Park is PC, the concierge! He was so attentive and went above and beyond, even preparing his grandmother's Irish recipe of a hot beverage to ease a sore throat I had one morning. He helped us navigate the small town (or village?), and he provided a map and tips for our drive on the Ring of Kerry. We felt like we made a friend with the great care from PC. The breakfast served in The Peregrine was also spectacular. It was elegant and left no stone unturned. Each staff member greeted with a smile and was attentive and caring. If you wish to feel like you are visiting Irish friends in a grand mansion, be sure to stay at The Killarney Park!

Wow!

We were lucky enough to stay recently and enjoy the new suites - all I can say is wow! The suite is so tastefully decorated and I had the best night sleep I had in a long time! From the moment you enter the Park, the team pull out all the stops! Can't wait to return

Wow.....Fabulous 'Fresh Chapter" without losing its charm!!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Much anticipated reopening of The Killarney Park after it's refurbishment didn't disappoint!! We had the pleasure of returning to this wonderful 5 star hotel, and once again enjoyed its luxury, this time, under it's "New Chapter"!! Front of house remains just as warm and welcoming as always, as are the staff, who were genuinely excited about the reopening. As we were escorted up to the bedroom, that's when the wow factor set in....attention to detail everywhere, newly refurbished bedrooms are a perfect blend of comfort and elegance, every detail designed with luxury in mind. Beds so comfy, unsuite impeccable, upgraded tech features like smart lighting and touch panel controls. Then, the mural on the wall behind the bed reflecting the natural beauty of Killarney, in our room "Ross Castle" clearly shows how much thought has been put into this elegant refurbishment... well done Killarney Park .

Magical city and 10 Star Hotel Experience!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

This was my favorite hotel in Ireland. The head concierge Padriag Casey, PC for short turned a very bad trip that involved a horrible experience with a rental car into a very memorable trip. My friend Robin and I wanted to go home prior to heading to Killarney but once at Killarney Park PC went out of his way to assist us in getting Enterprise to pick up their car and then we could really enjoy Ireland the way it was meant to be enjoyed! PC arranged for a private driver and tour guide who took us to the Cliffs of Moher and other local destinations. PC and the entire staff from the front desk, to housekeeping to wait staff were so welcoming we felt we had come home! The rooms were elegant and beds so comfortable. I plan to return to Killarney in the future and bring my daughter so she can experience the wonderful hospitality that PC and the Killarney Park staff provide.
