The staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The hotel is stunning with beautiful furnishings and large wide corridors. We ate in their dining room and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The bedroom was spacious with amazing views of the lake and gardens. The bed was so comfortable with big soft pillows and I slept peacefully which is unusual for me in a new bed.

Really great experience ! The hotel is really good with warm and charming staff ! The rooms are clean, cosy and comfortable if a little dated, although I believe they are being updated in a few weeks ! The food is exceptional, served in a really nice dining room with professional staff ! The spa is amazing and the vitality pool is a real treat ! The masseuse from the Ukraine was really good ! All is all an excellent experience

We had a wonderful NYE at The Park. Everybody went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after. The food from breakfast to lunch and dinner is superb. Great entertainment on New Year’s Eve and the grounds and setting are magical. We last stayed here six years ago and the new owners have only built on the great foundation that was there. We will be back.

Our stay in the park was enchanting, relaxing and absolutely beautiful. There was a lovely family atmosphere which was helped with the two brothers who run the business in addition to a band they had brought over from America who played a concert one of the evenings. The bar area was very cosy and the staff were all so very helpful. The spa area was beautiful and the plunge pool overlooking the bay was fantastic. The hotel has the added benefit that you can walk into the town and do a little shopping. I have only one recommendation for improvement and that would be the menu in the restaurant, I would prefer a wider range of choices. If the hotel has this it may entice guests to stay and eat in the evening as opposed to going into town. Overall a lovely venue and I am looking forward to going back.

My career has taken me to some of the most famous hotels in Europe and the United States. I can say, with maybe one exception, this is the best. The ambiance, the warmth, the staff and the town, make this one of the most pleasurable places you could possible stay. The staff bends over backwards to make you feel wanted. Many places say it but this place delivers. You are refreshed when you leave and I was there primarily for business ! Being an Irish whiskey aficionado , I would be remiss in not mentioning their superb collection. The bar tender , Rob, I think has his PHD in Irish whiskey. I hope you enjoy this place as much as me.
