Reviews for Park Hotel Kenmare

One of the best.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 16 hours ago

My career has taken me to some of the most famous hotels in Europe and the United States. I can say, with maybe one exception, this is the best. The ambiance, the warmth, the staff and the town, make this one of the most pleasurable places you could possible stay. The staff bends over backwards to make you feel wanted. Many places say it but this place delivers. You are refreshed when you leave and I was there primarily for business ! Being an Irish whiskey aficionado , I would be remiss in not mentioning their superb collection. The bar tender , Rob, I think has his PHD in Irish whiskey. I hope you enjoy this place as much as me.

The Best

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. The people working there were simply the best, always friendly, always offering to help and always a smile. The room was perfect, with a small balcony. The bathroom was a bit small and dated, but I was told an update is soon to occur in the area where we were staying. The art collection displayed throughout the hotel s fascinating. The hotel is a couple blocks from town, so an easy walk to and from. Grounds are lovely and offer trails for walking along the water. Special shout-out to Dylan and the lads in the bar. Their hospitality led to perhaps a wee bit too much time at the bar, but only because we enjoyed their company and drinks so much!

A perfect stay

Another wonderful stay at our favourite hotel. From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were greeted as old friends - had a welcome drink and delicious tea and cake by the log fire. Food, service and attention to detail was up to the usual very high standard. Our holiday was perfect in every way. We will be returning soon.

Exceptional service in a beautiful hotel.

It was our first time staying in The Park. It will not be our last. The hotel is beautiful with a fantastic art collection and a lovely Christmas atmosphere. The location in the middle of town but also on the waterfront was perfect. Our bedroom was very large with a lovely view of Kenmare Bay. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. The Spa with its infinity pool looking out over the bay was gorgeous. However the stand out feature of the hotel was the staff and the general level of service which was exceptional. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and warm and helpful. There seemed to be a genuine desire to make every guest feel welcome and taken care of. As an example, one evening when we were going out to dinner to a nearby restaurant the weather was quite bad and as we were walking out the door the hotel manager, Kasia approached us and offered to drive us to the restaurant rather than see us walk in the rain. We gladly accepted. This was service at a high level. We have stayed in many hotels in many countries but we have never really encountered such a level of personal service as we experienced at The Park. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Leave your worries at the gate

Fantastic. All the staff made our stay really memorable. A great bunch to be fair. Dinner and breakfast were also excellent. They really put a huge effort into making us feel relaxed Simple put, it's a great place to unwind, along with browsing some of the new art
