Conrad Koh Samui

We travel to Thailand from the US twice each year for vacation. This was our second stay at the Conrad. It's a little far from the airport but well worth the travel time. The views are spectacular, the rooms are beautiful and well maintained, and the staff are exceptional. Each room has its own plunge pool or you can hang out at the main pool or beach. Hely at Reception was so gracious during our stay. The breakfast staff was over the top. Since I am largely vegetarian and there are few salad choices at the breakfast, Martin specially made me a fantastic garden salad every morning. We really liked the service from Libby and Ice too! We will definitely return and highly recommend.

Where should i start to describe the ultimate experience ? From Check-in til check out you will feel service and hospitality on a new level. But from the beginning: Conrad Koh Samuih is a Hilton operated resort with guest rooms, 130 sqm., all with individual infinity pools, ocean views and lots of 5 star amenities ( Nespresso coffee machine, walk in wardrobe, walk in rain shower, huge bathroom with a huge tub). The property has 3 onsite restaurants serving Steaks (Jahns), Mediterranean cuisine (Azure) and Thai cuisine (Zest) . All of them are superb, serving not only the standards of their area but much more above. Service in every restaurants is breathtaking and professional and super attentive staff will make your breakfast, lunch or dinner unique experiences. we´d been here on a 5 nights stay as Hilton Honors Diamond members, and you can hardly find a Property where you're more appreciated for your Loyalty but even without that you will get in touch with the highest Hospitality level from the very first second of your stay. The check-in process is seamless, easy and while watching the first breathtaking ocean views, sipping your butterfly flower infused welcome drink, your personal stay ambassador (a sincere thanks to Marbell!) introduces you to the nice amenities waiting for you. he also takes you with a buggy to your villa and makes you familiar with the facility. We have been flashed by own name signs at the entrance, customized slippers and our own named teddybears. We love it. The first swim in the 10 meter infinity pool is a moment which makes your stay priceless. Sunsets are breathtaking and the silence, the views sipping your glass of champagne is so unique. That's pure luxury. There are a lot of activities you can do. The general Pool, the private beach with snorkeling, kayaking, jet skiing, stand up paddling and lots more. Occasional fire shows in the dark are nice to attend, too. You can attend a coffee roasting workshop and watch and taste how Kombucha is homemade. Bottanika is the Conrads Cafe with homemade roasted coffee and tea specials ( thanks to Boom!) but the Highlight is Iris, the Farm that supplies the Hotel with fruits and vegetables, eggs , herbs and more. So the morst important ingredients are home produce and organic, You are able to visit the farm, see the production, get introduced to the farmers, can feed the animals ( it was so special for me as a town human without experience where my food is from) taste the fresh fruits and veggies. A MUST see especially If you're traveling with kids. We also had a private tour : The White Lotus :-) . This is a five hours tour to the most important sights, cultural interests and religious spots. Don't miss it. It's much better than all the mass tourism tours you might book at Get You guide. ( believe me I know what I was talking about) If you invest in that you'll get a once in a lifetime experience. A big thanks to our personal driver Taro. Last end definitely not least is the amazing housekeeping: They provided such a breathtaking ( sorry to use this term inflationally but there´s no better term) service twice a day ( with sleeping sweets and postcards , creating unbelievable towel animals, flower services and so much hidden more). Thanks to Urai, Au, Pu, Nan, Prem and all the other hidden staff members. At Conrad even the Management is always visible and you'll be in touch with: Marco, Brent, Danielle and all others are creating an atmosphere where you feel like being home. All in all a clear 10 star experience. We will return as soon as possible.

This was our 4th time stay at Conrad Koh Samui. Same as our previous stays, all of us had a pleasant and relaxing 5-nights stay at 2 bedrooms family ocean pool villa and we enjoyed every moment spending there. Room and private pool condition is well maintained and clean with comfortable bed. The ocean view from every angle is unbeatable. We extremely like to spend the golden hour by our pool side to enjoy the beautiful sunset. I can say the sunset view here is one of the very best in Koh Samui!!! Housekeeping also did a great job during our stay everyday. Breakfast - the variety mix is comparatively better than last year with balanced western and Thai food. My both children enjoyed making their ice-cream cone in different flavour every morning while we liked the young coconut and fresh juices a lot. If they can offer some different mixed healthy juices which would be perfect. The panoramic view of the breakfast restaurant is super. We also like walking along to the pier where you can take very nice photos there. They also offer some complimentary activities and water sports to resort guests. Perhaps the occupancy rate was comparatively lower than our stay last year, we did not need to wait for long for the buggy service every time. All buggy men were polite and punctual. Thank you for all staff members of Conrad Koh Samui especially Martin and Minnie of breakfast restaurant, also Dew who could remember what we ordered for drinks and eggs in the morning. Also, Ae of pool side restaurant and New who both remembered that we were returned guests for our 4th time stay at Conrad Koh Samui. Finally, Marco, the GM of the resort is also very friendly and helpful, who always comes to talk to guests during breakfast time to understand more about our needs. Thank you all. We all had a pleasant and memorable stay at Conrad Koh Samui and Definitely we will come back again!

Everything about this experience was so thoughtfully crafted that it made the whole stay magical. We are a family of 5 and the team helped us in organizing our entire trip (including activities outside the hotel) so that all five of us could enjoy it. From Marco the general manager to our absolute favorite - Marbell, the team was exquisite! SUPER RECOMMENDED!

Conrad Koh Samui. Well pampered with fantastic view. Brace for summer heat! We stayed at this beautiful property for 5 nights in the week before Thai new year to celebrate my wife’s bday and mine. Surprisingly, the occupancy seems low which gave us extra relaxing atmosphere. Check in by Hely was smooth. Was hot afternoon so welcome drinks and cold towels were much needed. Hely explained hotel facilities / activities and escorted us to our room. We received upgrade to five island room, kudos to Marco and Conrad Koh Samui team! The room fits us (2 adults and 2 kids) nicely with a sofa bed large enough for 2 little kids. We were told that we need to add one roll away bed + kid breakfast package (required based on hotel policy?) although we didn’t use the bed at all and the bed also took some unnecessary space in the room. I believe we might be better off just paying for kids breakfast. The room: Roomy and great private pool especially for morning / sunset swim. Well maintained given its age and good quality linen / towel supplied. Shower water pressure a bit low in my view. We had small issue with curtain and housekeeping team quickly came to fix it. I noticed some spider webs on the ceiling and it was quickly removed. The food: Everyday breakfast at Zest (amazing view) with plenty of choices including drinks (favorite ones being Cold Brew / Thai Tea / guava juices). Food rotates every 3-4 days. Bakery selection is good with heating lamps. However, not sure if due to humility, even freshly baked croissant is not crispy. Same for ice cream cones. I told Johnny on the side and he quickly provided alternative solution. My wife was sick and skipped breakfast for at least 2 days and Johnny was kind to offer some custom made noodle soup to be delivered to the room. Dinner we tried Azure and KO lounge (with live music) and the beef burger / pork sandwich are good, paired with Sunset view. I liked Conrad five island beer and 25% discount for F&B spending at restaurants is great. We ordered floating afternoon tea set and although very instagrammable, the afternoon heat quickly took away the fun. Floating breakfast should be good. Activities: We tried most activities and beach side staff Fuse / Techno / Lek helpful for water sports / yoga / jet ski / tai chi etc. Fire show is good, too. Kids spent quite some time at Turtle Club although rather small. However, various activities kept them busy. I also booked a Sauna room which is a hidden gem. Thai inhaler / Thai Compress session both interesting for adults and kids. Iris Fram visit is a must although 4pm was still quite hot. Karaoke room is very big and comfortable and seems in big demand. Beach condition is so so given rocks as many said so need to wear booties. Gym is spacious and facilities are good. It’s our final destination of our 9-nights Koh Samui trip and we loved almost every bit of Conrad Koh Samui. It’s hilly so we took buggy everywhere. The kind and attentive staff makes our experience even better. The property is not close to anywhere so best to plan at least 3 nights stay. The remoteness of this property can be an issue if medical attention is needed. We asked for a Dr’s visit to give my wife IV injection and it took 1hr for Dr to arrive. Gladly the Dr’s treatment worked. Marco came to us one day checking in with us and gave us some background of the property, making us feel more connected to the property. We had early 8am check out but I reviewed the bill the day before so checking out with Nadia was smooth. Our kids collected all the stamps so we received 2 bears upon check out. Suggestion: -Mobile key doesn’t work -Screen mirror / AirPlay doesn’t work on iPhone. -Toilet rolls seem a bit cheap given price. Seems 1 or 2 ply only -Could delay Irish farm visit to 5pm to avoid the heat. -Can offer breakfast upgrade from Zest to floating breakfast at a discounted price. No way people can eat both. -Responsiveness: seems quicker response via Hilton app than WhatsApp msg. -Throughout the stay, I was looking for simple signs of happy birthday to me and my wife, perhaps just a card. I exchanged email with hotel before for this mentioning this is a bday trip for both is us. I was even asked for my wife’s name. But the birthday card only mentioned my name, no sign of hers. I’m glad I didn’t tell my wife about this otherwise she’d be upset. I didn’t flag this during the stay given she’s sick and not in the mood, but I guess FO team can talk a look at what went wrong during the communication. Thank you Conrad Koh Samui and team!
