About the Hotel

Reviews for Ace Hotel Kyoto
Great location & hotel!
Hotel very close to the metro. We utilised the map with recommended places to eat and the food at these places were all good. We would not have found these restaurants if we didn’t have this map. Shower was amazing, beds comfy. Only issue we had was the very low pillows, but we did not approach the staff about this. Utilised the free push bikes which was fun. These can’t be booked, it’s a first in type arrangement. Ate at Italian Maurice’s and the food was spectacular, however small servings. Good coffee at Stumptown attached to the hotel. Hotel very clean and quiet. Would recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again if we return.

Love it!
Not only were the rooms very nice and spacious but more than anything the staff were super helpful. They were always more than happy to help up with directions and bookings for restaurants. We didn’t get to use them but they have bikes for people staying to use and bring out umbrellas when it’s wet. We also tried the Italian restaurant and while it was a little pricey relative to local restaurants, the food and was great!

Great location, Fun Rooms
Beautiful hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. The record players in the rooms were a very nice touch. My wife and I discovered a new artist through the hotels vinyl collection. The location is very walkable and close to great restaurants and coffee shops.

Cool spot that works well for kids
Traveled with my two-year-old, brother, and parents— 3 rooms total which the hotel made sure we were close to one another. Rooms were spacious and cool, equipped with a working record player and all. Fantastic location and very friendly staff

A true hip hotel in Kyoto
This is a posh hotel in a great location in Kyoto. The rooms are large and very well decorated in a hip style. The bathrooms are particularly beautiful. The building is beautiful and offers a great roof terrace. Breakfast is delicious. Price is very reasonable given the quality of the hotel.
