About the Hotel

Aman Kyoto in Japan is a luxury resort offering you an authentic yet contemporary sanctuary situated in a once-forgotten secret garden, surrounded by 80 acres of tranquil forest. Accommodation consists of reimagined traditional ryokan across 24 guest rooms and 2 villas with traditional onsen bathing facitilites. Nestled in the verdant foothills of the symbolic mountain of Hidari Daimonji, Aman Kyoto is a place of untold beauty, where small Jizo statues sit contentedly among the yama momiji maples. The resort perfectly tempers privacy, relaxation and rejuvenation with the vibrancy of Japan’s ancient Imperial capital, home to 17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Aman Kyoto is an architectural masterclass in eschewing the obvious while embracing the subtle - a picture frame for a location that is as peaceful as it is otherworldly.
