Our reservation is for October 2024, but I have never had so much trouble in getting connecting rooms. I called the hotel maybe 8 times and got different updates... I changed my room type multiple times as they requested... I was told multiple times that they will call back but it didn't happen. I did get some closure with the reservations supervisor - however two months passed during this painful process, and now the prices are significantly higher. Canceling now will invoke a penalty, so that's not an option. I am still getting the runaround from the team about honoring the price at which I booked two months ago. Everyone I've spoken with has been nice and friendly. Sadly they can't seem to get their act together.

We arrived 9/15/2024 and from the start the experience was lacking. We paid for enclave which is suppose to equate to VIP. It does not. The private reception and check was not provided to us as it was to others. Also was not informed that as a Hilton Honers Diamond member Enclave was included at no charge. The Hotel itself is not terrible it is dated and old. However the Playa Connection group are like vultures at every turn trying to bully and corral you into high pressure slaes presentations and traps. It's suffocating. Would not recommend or return.

My stay at the Hilton family resort was very pleasant. Staff in general are friendly and respectful - with very few exceptions. There are however a few staff members, that made my stay wonderful, and deserve a special mention. From the breakfast/lunch Buffet; Alejandro was very attentive and went out his way to get me some tostones I was craving. The waiters and waitresses were all kind, however Mr. Bienvenido was always a pleasure to see, every time I saw him, he was always polite, attentive and caring, always smiling, always at service. It was a great way to start the day. Jenny and Elsy from the spa were very professional and their services were spectacular. From the water sports center, Alberto along with the scuba diving instructors Andres and Daniel were very professional, and made my diving experiences amazing! Definitely recommend this resort and will be coming back for sure.

Our experience at the Hilton La Romana family resort was exceptional. Everything was done to support us in having a wonderful holiday and we enjoyed every moment. The cleanliness is 2nd to none and staff are constantly cleaning. All areas. The friendliness of all staff is also outstanding. everybody is keen to say hello and help you whether that be to move lounges provide you with drinks towels or just have a friendly chat and give a recommendation on trips during our visit. The spice market restaurant roof was being refurbished. This meant we had to eat meals in the convention centre. The only thing I would say here is that the meals do need to be considerably hotter however The food is wonderful a different menu each and every night and on top of that a variety of different restaurants to choose from we will definitely visit this resort again and would like to mention all of the staff are amazing once again. Luis on trip booking super helpful and very knowledgeable he found the right trip for myself and my daughter. This was extremely kind and we had an amazing time on the snorkel and glass bottom boat trip. We even managed to see manatee swimming in the bay Nayeli & Cuisel, Victoria and Maria where all a wonderful contribution to the team in the restaurants it was great to be welcomed by their smiling faces every day also a special mention to the guys cleaning up around the facility sweeping collecting towels picking up rubbish. They were equally as pleasant and deserve praise for their, efforts. We will return to this resort because we absolutely loved it and the people. Ps you need more shade on the front row family beach 😉

We visited here at the end of August into September 2024. This hotel is beautifully kept - the grounds are spacious, lush and extremely well maintained. The beach is one of the best I have ever visited, with cream sand and turquoise blue waters that are warm. We opted to pay for an upgrade to The Enclave section of the resort upon out arrival and did not regret our decision - we had an amazing view of the sea and were very close to the beach and our favourite restaurant, where as Enclave members we could also have breakfast and lunch. The food was extremely good too, in the restaurants especially - we stayed on the family side and these were French, Italian and the Grill. Our favourite was the Grill, which was right by the sea in a fabulous location - we would have our breakfast there every morning and would go most lunchtimes and it was the place we went to for our meals in the evening the most. The staff there were very helpful and nice, remembering what we preferred (such as red or white wine etc) and the food was always delicious and perfect. Special mention goes out to Brian, who was very courteous and helpful at all times and there was this lovely girl called Rosa, who tried to teach me a bit of Spanish. The weather was very good, apart from a few minor showers here and there, and one big storm one afternoon, when the rain was torrential. The staff at the the resort on the whole were all very respectful and would say hello to you and smile etc if they passed you or caught your eye in a kind of peaceful way, which was appreciated. The room was always kept very clean by the maid and our requests for certain items, such as a kettle and a blanket came quickly and without issue from house keeping. There are also water sports if you want to partake in those, my husband and daughter went paddle boarding, kayaking and sailing! All and all this is a fabulous resort and I would go back in a heart beat!
